Caravan Description
This immaculately presented and privately owned Willerby Sierra Mk4 caravan (2015) occupies a front row position on the ‘Atlantic Heights’ area of Perran Sands Holiday Park in Cornwall.
The views of the sea and the coastline from the caravan’s private decking area are quite breathtaking.
This caravan has all of the features of the ‘Platinum’ caravans hired by Haven on this site (other than not offering bed linen and an early check-in opportunity) plus several extras, including a front-facing decking area (complete with rattan sofas and tables) with a wonderful sea view, as well as a guaranteed private parking space by the side of the caravan.
The decking area has French doors leading into the lounge area, which allows a wonderful sea breeze to creep into the caravan when the weather is warm.
The double glazed doors and windows provide a cosy feel to the elements at other times, allowing residents to still enjoy the picturesque views. The doors encapsulate the whole front of the caravan, providing a great source of natural light.
The lounge has a spacious and modern seating area which can easily accommodate a full family wishing to relax. An LCD flat screen TV/DVD combo with Freeview is provided, plus a modern electric flame effect fire for any slightly chilly evening. An iPod dock with speakers is also provided to allow you to choose the music you require for day time fun or a mellow evening with a glass of wine
The lounge is adjacent to a substantial dining area which will comfortably sit four for a meal around the family dining table.
The fully equipped large kitchen includes a full size integrated fridge freezer, a full size gas oven and hob, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. All crockery, pots, pans, cutlery and utensils that you may need for a family holiday are provided - right down to the corkscrew to open your first relaxing and celebratory drink!
The master bedroom has a remarkable amount of storage space, including a double wardrobe, numerous drawers, shelves and a dressing table. It has an en-suite bathroom, complete with wash basin and WC.
In the second bedroom, twin beds are situated beside the single wardrobe and shelving areas. These two single beds can be pushed together if required. A pull-out double sofa bed is also available in the lounge to take the overnight resident quota up to a comfortable six persons.
Quilts and pillows are provided for both bedrooms but guests may find it easier just to grab their duvets from home and bring them along all ready to go!
The family bathroom is both modern and quite luxurious, with a double size power shower enclosure, wash basin and WC.
There is direct access to the beach from the caravan over the sand dunes. The pathways closest to the caravan provides the quickest but steepest walk down to the beach, whilst slightly further along the cliff top, the more accessible beach path gives a slightly longer but less strenuous walk!
Perranporth is a short walk along the beach, passing the famous 'Watering Hole' café/bar. The atmosphere here is as good as the food and the company – Britain’s only pub on the beach! Perranporth Golf Club is quite literally next door to the caravan and you have spectacular views over one of the fairways from the lounge.
