Doniford Bay is a beautiful, small and friendly park with its own beach access, surrounded by some of Somerset's best countryside. It is accessed via a security manned, password controlled, gated driveway.

This 3-bedroom family caravan with picturesque sea views can sleep up to 6 people flexibly. It is set in a quiet part of the park, ideal and safe for the children, but still near to all facilities. The caravan is situated on an end, corner position with larger than usual surrounding family green space; it is not overlooked immediately by neighbouring caravans, it has full side decking which is gated.

Additionally there is a paved patio area with wood picnic furniture. The caravan also has its own private parking bay.

The van is protected by a Ramtech security system, linked directly to the 24hr park security team, fully tested and maintained smoke and CO2 detectors are in place.

Features include a very spacious open plan lounge/diner, large dining table with seating for 6.

The lounge area itself has comfortable, wrap around seating, and is equipped with a gas fire, 42" flat screen Freeview T.V. and Blu-ray DVD player.

Additionally for music or surround sound lovers there are embedded ceiling speakers, compatible with mobile devices, including tablets, iPhone, iPad and laptops.

The kitchen is fully equipped with 8 crockery, cutlery and glassware settings; gas oven, 4 burner hob and grill, plus extractor; microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge with freezer compartment. There are ample pots/pans, ovenware, cooking utensils and knives.

Adjacent to the kitchen area is the family shower room and w.c. The shower cubicle is large and the water flow powerful. A heated towel rail is incorporated.

A second W.C. is located in the passage way to the caravan bedrooms.

The Salsa has 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twins. All are to high specification, light and airy with good wardrobe space. The bedrooms are heated by a very efficient warm air flow system. The van is double glazed throughout.

Additionally there is a pull out double bed incorporated under the lounge seating.

We provide duvets, pillows, pillow protectors, mattress protectors and toppers as standard. On request we can provide freshly laundered bed linen for an additional cost depending on your party size (you only have to make the beds up yourself).

Lots of soft furnishings and other personally incorporated fixtures complete this highly desirable holiday home. Please have a look at our selection of photographs to see what we mean.

The caravan is thoroughly cleaned between lets.

To make your arrival as stress free and comfortable as possible full details of where to pick up your keys, welcome pack and entertainment pass details (and costs if applicable) will be provided when you book, with final instructions by e-mail no later than 2 weeks before your arrival. We will also provide a starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and something for the dog so that you can relax, read the welcome pack and get comfortable with your surroundings.

Telephone contacts will be available to answer and respond to any questions or issues you may have during your stay.

As dog owners ourselves we welcome responsible dog owners and will accept well behaved dogs. Park rules dictate that dogs are to be kept on a short lead whilst in the main park areas, however there are plenty of large dog walk green spaces near to the beach access where they can be walked freely. The beach of course is at their pleasure. Please clean up and dispose of any mess, there are plenty of bins around the park.

The 2 closest beaches are, in front of the site, and at Watchet (3 miles) both dog friendly. If you are bringing your dog on holiday we simply ask that you do not allow them onto the caravan furniture or in the bedrooms without covering first, thank you.

Doniford Bay Holiday Park is a Haven site with all the facilities you could wish for: show bar with live entertainment; heated indoor and outdoor pools (outside pool with 4 lane slide); leisure centre; kid's play centre; adventure playground; restaurant, fish & chip shop; Nisa general store and much, much more.

The site has its own access to the beach which is famous for its rock pools, fossils, glorious sea views and sunsets.

There is a lot to explore off Park within easy driving distance, including Exmoor National Park, Blue Anchor beach, Dunster Castle, Dunster Beach, Somerset Steam Railway, Watchet Harbour.

Well worth a visit in the local area are the towns of Porlock and Minehead. Walkers will enjoy Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills. Fishermen can spend the day at Blue Anchor Bay, which is very close to the site. Boats run regular fishing trips from Watchet harbour which is 10 minutes drive from the park.

Further afield there's plenty to do ranging from Brean leisure park, Wookey Hole, Cheddar gorge, Glastonbury, Clarks village, and plenty more.

Bookings & Conditions

A non refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking, with the remaining fees due to be paid 6 weeks before the holiday commences. A £25 security bond is additional for any breakages, damages or inventory losses and passes if not returned. This is to be paid with the balance of your holiday. The £25.00 will be refunded if all is in order shortly after departure.

Holiday balance, then add £25.00 security bond, and a further £ charge if bed linen is required (available on request) 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Piped Gas, electric and water services are included in the price of your holiday.

Please ask for information and costs on Entertainment Complex passes for your stay.

Check in time is usually on a Friday, Saturday or Monday afternoon from 2pm with a 10am check out on the day of departure depending on the dates and duration of your stay.

Please Note: Haven does not allow stag or hen parties, or groups of under 21's.

Some facilities require additional membership/cost, these being the tennis court, indoor pool activities, outdoor adventure centre activities, bike hire, kids' club. These are not included in the cost of your holiday.

We do accept shorter/longer breaks, and out of date sequence bookings; please ask for prices.
