Chalet Description
We have three, two bedroom chalets on California Sands Holiday Park, all situated around the same quadrant and each one sleeping up to five people - and dogs go free!
All chalets are double glazed and UPVC cladded.
Dogs are welcome. However, it is a site ruling that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when on site and any fouling must be cleaned up by the dog owner. For the comfort of all guests, please do not allow your pets to climb on the furniture.
Bed linen is included in the price.
The electric is by £1 coin meter.
The changeover day is Saturday.
Chalet 57
Two Bedrooms: one double bed and one triple bunk bed. Each bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and electric heater.
Lounge/Diner: with two chairs and a settee, fold-down dining table with chairs, remote controlled Freeview colour TV/DVD player and a small selection of DVDs and games.
Kitchen: fully fitted, with an electric cooker, microwave, toaster and a full sized fridge. We also supply a clothes airer, iron and ironing board.
Bathroom: WC, hand basin and bath with an electric shower.
Outside: a paved area with picnic table and chairs which overlooks a large grassy area where children can play. There are deckchairs and a windbreaker to use outside or on the beach.
The chalet is carpeted and has non-slip kitchen and bathroom flooring.
Chalet 58

Two Bedrooms: one double bed and one bunk bed sleeping 2, plus a single put u up bed , along with a washing machine. Each bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and electric heater.
Lounge/Diner: with a two-seater settee and three seater settee a fold-down dining table with chairs, remote controlled Freeview colour TV and a small selection of games.
Kitchen: fully fitted, with an electric cooker, microwave, toaster and a full sized fridge/freezer. We also supply a clothes airer, iron and ironing board.
Bathroom: WC, hand basin and bath with an electric shower with hand rails (one step up).
Outside: a paved area with picnic table and chairs which overlooks a large grassy area where children can play. There are deckchairs and a windbreaker to use outside or on the beach.
The chalet is carpeted and has non-slip kitchen and bathroom flooring.

About the Area
On California Sands you will find the Oasis Clubhouse, which offers a wide range of entertainment and children are welcome. Membership is FREE. Openings and schedule can be found on the Park's website.Also on site is a heated indoor swimming pool, open from May 16th to September 5th, with FREE membership, along with amusements, a launderette and mini-market, but if you prefer a larger supermarket there are stores in Caister and Great Yarmouth.
There is also an on-site diner which offers a varied menu at reasonable prices or there is the local free house, 'California Tavern' near the beach which is very popular and serves a selection of food (booking advisable in high season), or get your take-away on-site or from nearby Hemsby or Caister.
There is an all year round, dog friendly sandy beach just a short walk from the chalets. Winterton and Caister are also dog friendly. You can also visit the dog friendly café in Caister.
Great Yarmouth is only 5 miles away and about a 10 minute drive, or you can use the frequent bus service just opposite the site reception.
There's a whole host of leaflets in the chalets giving you details of what’s on in the location.
We can highly recommend a trip up the Norfolk Broads by boat; this is reasonably priced and so relaxing.
Fancy something faster? Then there’s the option of the pleasure beach in Great Yarmouth or Pleasure Hills.
There really is something for everyone here.
