Caravan Description
Situated on a quiet family and pet friendly site in the heart of 1066 country, our fully double glazed and centrally heated caravan is the perfect place to stay and explore town, country and seaside.
With one double bedroom (en-suite) and two twin bedrooms (one of which can convert to a double if required), plus a double sofa bed in the lounge, the caravan offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for guests and their canine friends. All bedrooms have ample storage and are heated. Additional blankets are available on request if required and there is a plug-in electric heater to boost the temperature if necessary. All bed linen is provided - you just need to bring towels.
The bathroom comprises toilet, sink and double shower whilst the en-suite offers additional toilet and sink facilities.
The well-stocked kitchen allows you to be fully self catered, whilst the on site restaurant and nearby dog friendly pub provide the option of letting someone else do the hard work for you! Many local takeaways will deliver to the site, as long as you are prepared to meet them at reception (a five minute walk from the caravan). Tea-towels are provided, along with washing up liquid, sponge and brush.
The lounge/diner offers a large L shaped sofa for relaxing and watching the TV (Freeview) or a DVD, along with dining table and four dining chairs. Additional seating is available for larger parties - please mention when booking. Double patio doors lead from the lounge onto the decking and outside seating area. In addition to central heating, the lounge has a fire for added cosiness. Books and games are provided for additional entertainment.
An enclosed decking area around the caravan gives you peace of mind that your children and dogs can be outside safely. If you own a Houdini of the dog world and are concerned about them escaping the decking, long tie out lines are available on request - please ask when booking. The on site exercise field and woodland area gives you an opportunity to walk your dogs close to the caravan, before heading out on your daily adventures!
Please Note: We will request a £50 security deposit, which will be returned after your stay providing no repairs or additional cleaning have been required.

About the Area
Coghurst Hall is set in a lovely quiet location and the site is peaceful and friendly. There are many residential vans and this helps to create a community feel. The site also benefits from an 11 and a half month season, with the only time out of commission being the first two weeks of January.On site, you will find a small shop selling essentials, plus a games room and childrens play area. There is an indoor swimming pool to enjoy, plus a bar and restaurant which offer entertainment. The caravan is situated close enough to walk to these areas easily, but not so close that you are able to hear them if you prefer not to.
There are several bigger supermarkets within a short driving distance, plus petrol garages and pet/fishing supply stores.
The site is known for its two acre, well stocked fishing lake and day passes are available at reception. You will require an NRA licence.
Three Oaks pub, just up the road in Three Oaks, offers a family and pet friendly atmosphere and serves good quality, traditional pub food. They also operate a pizza takeaway service (collection only).
The closest town is Hastings which has a wealth of activities on offer including shipwreck and true crime museums, aquarium, crazy golf and karting, shopping (both old town and modern shopping centre) and the White Rock Theatre which operates an exciting programme of events throughout the year. Whether it is the bustle of the old town, the fun of the seaside or the peace of the countryside there is something for everyone to enjoy. Brighton, Eastbourne, Rye, Bexhill-on-Sea and Battle are all within easy reach for days out.
