Our holiday chalet is at Bideford Bay Holiday Park, near Clovelly, on the North Devon coast, in a fantastic wooded hillside location with lovely sea views. This is an ideal location for families or visitors of all ages, either to stay on site and enjoy the facilities or exploring the stunning north coast of Devon or Cornwall.
Buckland Chalet (Silver grade)
This brick and timber chalet is set in open plan grounds, set to lawn, where you can sit and enjoy the views.
You walk in to the lounge/dining area, where you will find a dining table with four chairs, settee, two armchairs and a Freeview TV with built-in DVD player. Please bring your own DVDs and CDs. There's a selection of books you are welcome to relax with.
The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, built-in oven and hob, microwave, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for up to 5 persons.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed with built-in wardrobes, the other room with a bunk bed, small double at the bottom and a single on the top, plus there is a fitted wardrobe in the room. Both bedrooms have electric heaters.
The full size bathroom has an electric shower over the bath and an electric towel rail. Hot water is by electric immersion heater.
The chalet has full double glazing and has been redecorated this year.
There are parking bays close to the chalet with flat, easy access to it.
Dogs are welcome at £20 per dog.
Prices include electricity and bed linen.
The walk to the main complex is quite steep, but is only 5 minute walk. Those with mobility difficulties may find this a problem, but please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.

About the Area
Bideford Bay Holiday Park's facilities comprise of an indoor fun pool, outdoor heated pool with flume, all weather multi sports court, children’s playground, soft play area, mini assault course and crazy golf. There is entertainment in the Manor House for all ages, and for those who do not want to cook there are tasty food options in the Manor House bar and restaurant, as well as a takeaway. There are no site facilities open after November 2nd.There is also a convenience store and launderette on site, with a Post Office just off site.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the Clubhouse.
There is much in the area to visit if you have are a family, walkers, surfers or couples.
The site is off the A39, also known as the Atlantic Highway, giving you easy access into Cornwall one way and Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lymouth in the other direction.
Beaches near by include Westward Ho, with its Blue Flag beach, and Northam Burrows.
Clovelly, with its cobbled streets down to the old fishing harbour and beach, can be walked to along the coastal path from the site, which takes about an hour.
Theme parks and adventure parks nearby include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way.
