About the Area
Our caravan is situated at Oakdene Forest Park; a 4 star holiday park that borders the Avon Forest and unspoilt river meadows.There are numerous cycle trails leading directly from the park allowing access to nature reserves, country parks, local attractions and forestry commission land. Just a short drive also accesses the fabulous Jurassic coastline with its fine beaches which is within easy reach of the park. Bournemouth beach is just 10 miles away.
Oakdene is a child friendly site with lots of amenities to keep little ones entertained. It boasts an indoor/outdoor pool with flume, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gymnasium. There's also entertainment on site, with great children's clubs, outdoor park and Go Active programme, with Oakdene being 1 of only 14 parks in the UK offering this programme.
There are great cycle trails and crazy golf on site too.
