Caravan Description
Our privately owned, 3 bedroom mobile home is situated on the privately owned 4 star site of Les Amiaux in the Vendee region of France.
The mobile home is fully equipped for 6 guests and comprises 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. Each bedroom has a duvet for each bed, two pillows for each single bed and 4 pillows for the double bed.A limited number of throws are available too (for indoor use only).
The kitchen has a full gas cooker (oven, grill and 4 burner rings), along with plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery and glasses. Also included are an electric kettle, a fridge freezer, a microwave and toaster.
The living area also includes a table and chairs, with additional fold up chairs when 6 people are at the table. The shower room has a glass door shower and a wash hand basin, There is a separate W.C. and wash basin.
Our mobile home is situated on a large grassed plot, with each plot being individually hedged on 3 sides.
Our pitch receives plenty of sun during the day. day. We have provided for your use, an outdoor patio table with parasol and 6 chairs, also reclining chairs for sun bathing, and a BBQ. Parking for your car is adjacent to the home.

About the Area
Les Amiaux is 4 star site (the highest rating in France) situated just outside the centre of town. (St Jean de Monts)On site facilities include 3 pools, one indoor free form pool with a kiddies pool, one outdoor water slide pool, and an outdoor pool with kiddies splash pool and Jacuzzi. There are also tennis courts, a 5-a-side pitch, basketball ring, indoor and outdoor table tennis tables, volley ball, boules, sand pits with slides etc., cycles for hire, a shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway.
Wi-Fi is also available on site.
Locally there is a swimming pool on the sea front, an 18 hole golf course, crazy golf, horse riding, fishing, boating, sand yatching, cycle hire, restaurants and bars. Three supermarkets and ordinary shops and services and a daily market until about 1 pm. and Wed & Sat open markets in the town square. Also other markets in other local town which we will provide a list and days for you when you book.
In the area there are adventure parks, monkey world, a zoo, a safari park and many other less strenuous places to visit, including the Island of Normoutier and the cities of La Rochelle and Nantes. The town has 3 supermarkets, indoor and outdoor markets, most shops i.e. clothes, shoes, gift shops, banks, Post Office etc. Also a large ferris wheel on the sea front.
There are local villages and towns with restaurants and alternative beaches.
The beach is 800 m. from the site through the pine forest, so you can walk or drive as there are plenty of car parks.
You will be able to enjoy strenuous activities, or more sedate pastimes swimming, sunbathing or reading a book. The reception has much information on things to do and places to visit and the tourist office in town offers even more advice. We will provide a n information pack with much information to assist you and make your holiday enjoyable.
