Caravan Description
This fabulous 37ft x 12ft mobile home is made up of 3 separate bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin rooms, and a 3/4 double pull out sofa bed in the lounge) all with storage units and bedside cabinets, and two with vanity units, a seat and mirror. The twin beds can be put together to make doubles too. (no wardrobes, side cabinets in the lounge)
There's a large, open plan kitchen with a large fridge freezer, large range style oven, microwave and all crockery, pots and pans, glasses, picnic plates and cleaning equipment.
The large lounge has a coffee table, gas fire, fan and a radio, along with seats that make into a double bed.
The dining area is part of the open plan lounge, with a round table with chairs.
The shower/bathroom has with a bath/shower and sink. The separate toilet also has a sink (I have not shown a picture of the toilet!!!).
Outside there is a shed containing another large fridge freezer and a full size washing machine, along with drying racks, garden equipment and a child's and adult's push foot scooters. On the patio, there is a large gazebo, covering a large table with 6/8 chairs (with removable padded seats). Two adjustable sun beds are also available to laze in the sun.
The outside seating area has its own outside lighting for those late nights with a local bottle of wine!!!

About the Area
Camping L’Eden offers charm, character and tranquillity for your holiday destination, while the children are well catered for with the pool and play/meeting areas and a table tennis table.Free Wi-Fi is also available on the site in the entrance, restaurant, play area and at the pool.
There is a unique friendly atmosphere. which will make you feel right at home.
The campsite consists of privately owned mobile homes, owned by English, Dutch and French families, while many residents stay the whole summer, a large majority of homes are rented out by the owners to family and friends, many of whom return year after year.
Facilities on site include:
- Large swimming pool in a landscaped palm tree setting
- Shallow pool for small children
- Children’s play area and ping pong table
- Boules pitch
- Fresh bread and croissants daily from the campsite shop, which has a selection of other items too
- Bar/Restaurant with outdoor terrace offering delicious, freshly cooked Provençal cuisine and entertainment a number of times a week, such as bands/singers etc
- Shower and toilet blocks (if there is a queue at the mobile home because of daughters!!!!!)
- Washing machines
The overall impression of the campsite is aptly summed up in its name, 'Eden', with pools of sunlight filtering through the trees highlighting the vivid colours of its many flowers and shrubs
The Campsite is positioned between the sparkling Mediterranean coastline and the historic splendour of the village of Biot (famous for its Glass works), and is ideally placed for exploring the joys and Culture of the French Riviera.
You will definitely want to soak up the exciting atmosphere of the world famous resorts of Monaco, Nice and Cannes which can be easily accessed by the good quality train service which runs in both directions along the coast.
The railway station and the Beach (stony in the main) is only 15 minutes’ walk from the campsite.
There is also a local bus service running between Biot and Antibes which passes the Campsite gates, and all journeys are only 1 Euro !.
Antibes, the nearest town, and is renowned for its harbour where many of the most spectacular yachts in the world are moored for the summer season. You can also find the nearest Sandy Beach here, and enjoy the atmosphere of the old town with its many shops, pavement Cafes and varied Restaurants.
Closer to the Campsite is the world famous Marineland, with daily spectaculars featuring dolphins, Orca whales, sea lions and polar bears; 10 minute walk
There is also an Adventure Golf,
A superb Water Park with huge slides and all the facilities of a premier water park (June-September), a 5-10 minute walk from the site.
Also a full 18 hole golf course in Biot, (only 5-10 mins walk from the site).
There is also a large static fairground Antibesland with all the rides of the fair, both large and small.
The area is dotted with places of great historical interest, and fabulous villages in the mountains to Grasse where all the best fragrances and perfumes are produced.
Antibes also has the Picasso Museum, with over 200 work by the famous artist.
We have been going to the area for over 15 years and each year we discover new villages, areas and places of interest and of course numerous traditional village markets and village events.
Driving to the mobile home in Biot takes about 20 hrs (including the ferry) ,and with comfort and food stops on the way, being about 990 miles from Nottingham. However an overnight stay around Dijon or Lyon is advised. Also the main roads in France are Toll roads, and the current price to Biot is about 125 Euros each way (2019 price).
The easiest way to get to Biot, is to fly into Nice Airport, and the campsite is only 15 minutes away by car.
We have found the cheapest airline to be Easy Jet, and we have flown from a number of airports in the UK.
We have also found that the earlier you book the flights to Nice the cheaper they will be, Easyjet flights are already on sale for 2019.
Taxi’s from the airport are very expensive (70 euros each way!!), but there are residents on the site who will collect and return you from the airport for about 35 euro each way (ask Debbie for details), also the Uber cars are great, and cost about 27-30 euros each way (you have to have the Uber app and book via phone or laptop.
Car hire from the airport is about the same price as in the UK, but do book from an established hirer, and make sure you do not have to put down a huge deposit on your credit card on arrival.
