Caravan Description
Willerby Le Cottage 6/8 berth, child friendly caravan situated at Laita 18 on Camping du Quinquis.
This larger, modern caravan has a good size pitch with a grassed area to the front and sides for parking and playing.
You will find a raised decking area with outdoor chairs, table, parasol, a sun lounger and a BBQ, which leads to the entrance of your holiday home. The decking has recently been updated to make this a safe and child friendly area, so for those with younger children this is now fully enclosed with a gate to stop any little ones from escaping.
You enter the caravan into the open plan living room, dining area and kitchen which is clean, fresh and airy.
The lounge area has a comfortable seating area and is equipped with a TV and DVD player, although no TV is received, but a selection of DVDs are provided. Satellite TV is available in the campsite bar. The lounge also has a dining table and chairs, along with a heater that is attached to the wall.
The open plan kitchen has everything you need for your holiday, including a full size oven, hob, grill, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery, crockery, etc.
Off the kitchen area there is a door leading to the main bedroom, which has a double bed, wardrobe and over the bed storage, plus access to the bathroom, which has a shower, wash basin and WC.
Off the main living area are doors leading to 2 further bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, a wardrobe and over the bed cupboard space. The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds a wardrobe.
The bathroom has a good size shower that also doubles up as a little bath for the children as it has a deep tray and plug.
The mobile home can sleep 8 with the facility of using the pull-out bed in the lounge area. A travel cot is also available with this caravan.
Wi-Fi is available in the mobile home at your leisure (payable).
Linen can be hired from Camping du Quinquis.

About the Area

Local Area
Situated about 2kms from the beach, Camping du Quinquis (pronounced Kan-Keese) is located in the small seaside village of Le Pouldu, which is in the southwest corner of the Department of Finistere, Brittany. Le Pouldu is about 15kms north of Lorient and 10kms west of the medieval town of Quimperle.
Le Pouldu has 3 excellent beaches and there are often events here in high season. There is also a lovely beach at Pouldu Port. All of the beaches have great rock pools, which are exposed at low tide, and the port has an excellent restaurant and a very relaxing bar overlooking the estuary. There is a lovely walk to Pouldu Port from Posmoric Port along the banks of the River Laita. All of this is within 2kms of the campsite itself.
Clohars is the nearest town with shops, banks and the post office. Clohars has the nearest supermarket – Carrefour – where you can stock up on most groceries. The market here is on Saturday mornings in the very posh new town square.
Guidel is bigger than Clohars and Doelan and is a good place to visit on Sunday mornings. The market here has loads of goodies to tempt you. There is a great wine shop in the market square and a number of gift shops. Guidel also has a recently extended SuperU supermarket. Just beyond Guidel itself is Guidel Plage and Larmor Plage.
Quimperle is a fair size town with all kinds of shops and facilities. There is a good market on Friday mornings and the walk along the riverside by the stunning floral displays towards the daily fish market is a great way to see the town. Quimperlé is in southern Brittany, inland from Pont-Aven between Lorient and Concarneau. It is at the eastern edge of the Finistere department. Quimperlé is a magnet for tourists due to its very pretty centre, filled with streets of medieval half-timbered houses typical of the Brittany region.
Loreint, Brittany's fourth largest city, lies on an immense natural harbour protected from the ocean by the Île de Groix and strategically located at the junction of the rivers Scorff, Ter and Blavet.
