Caravan Description
Our caravan is an Atlas Diamond Super, which is spacious and modern. It has two bedrooms, a double and a smaller twin bedded room, both with ample storage.
The shower room has a hand basin and toilet. There is also a second toilet with hand basin.
The kitchen area has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge with small freezer section, microwave, toaster, kettle and a good supply of crockery etc. The dining table seats four and the lounge area has chairs and a couch, comfortably seating six.
As the caravan has up to now been mainly used by our family, there are plenty of CDs, DVDs and board games that you are welcome to use.
No smoking is allowed in the caravan, but there is a 20' x 8' veranda with table and chairs, where you can smoke if you wish. There is parking for one vehicle alongside the caravan, but other parking areas are available for visitors.

About the Area
Martello Beach Park is a well maintained, clean and flat site with direct access to the beach, which is mainly pebble with some sand at low tide.The site has a club house, incorporating a restaurant and bar area, swimming pool, sauna, gym, soft play area for small children and a launderette. The grounds include a football play area, boules and volleyball pitches, along with seating and tables for picnics or barbeques.
Visitors are allowed to use all the facilities, fuller details of the site may be found on their own website.
The majority of caravans are privately owned and the site is ideal for families, but also during term time it is very peaceful. (CHECK OUR PRICES FOR MONDAY - FRIDAY SHORT BREAKS). Entertainment is supplied at the clubhouse, mainly at a weekend, but more during school and public holidays.
Locally, the village of Pevensey Bay is within walking distance, along the beach or road with a few shops, pubs and restaurants. Five minutes by car is the 'Crumbles' a lovely marina area with cafes, bars, etc. and plenty of entertainment in the summer months. In a different area of the complex is a 24 hour Asda, Boots, Next, Matalan, TK Max sports shops as well as a multi-screen cinema.
Eastbourne is about a 12 minutes drive away where you will find plenty of shops, theatres, the band stand and pier; all worth a visit. We are lucky to gets lots of free entertainment on the seafront there, mostly at weekends. For the children, on the way to Eastbourne is the Sovereign swimming complex, Fort Fun, Prince's Park and Treasure Island with crazy golf and a large paddling pool.
There is so much to do locally with golf, sailing, cycling all on offer, plus day trips to Rye and Hasting or Beachy Head and Brighton, all within easy reach.
If you don't want the hastle of driving or parking there are bus stops outside the Park entrance.
All in all, this is a lovely area for a short break or a longer holiday.
