Our beautiful family friendly holiday home is located at Haulfryn's award winning Finlake Holiday Park in South Devon. We specifically wanted to achieve a homely feel and believe that is exactly what we have done. There is everything here to meet your needs for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We are situated in a quiet relaxing sunny corner of the Lakeside Village area of Finlake Holiday Resort, with surrounding woodland that's perfect for relaxing woodland walks and just minutes from the fishing lakes.
The modern and fully equipped kitchen has a full size fan assisted cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, along with good quality cutlery, crockery, glassware and saucepans, plus all extra kitchen essential for a no hassle holiday. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is light and airy. There is a large TV with Freeview, a DVD player and the added benefit of free Wi-Fi. There is also an electric fire situated in the lounge area and full central heating throughout. The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed with ample wardrobes and storage space, plus a Freeview TV located at the foot of the bed. The second bedroom has twin beds and again ample storage space, drawers and a wardrobe. In the shower room there is a large double shower and wash hand basin. There is a separate toilet, also with wash hand basin. Patio doors open onto a large decked area to the front and side with use of a gas BBQ, rattan garden furniture and parasol so you can enjoy the all-day sunshine. There's parking for one car and additional parking only a few minutes' walk away if a second car space is needed.
The on site facilities are only a few minutes walk away, these including a heated outdoor pool with flume, an new extensive indoor leisure complex, with a huge indoor pool with additional toddler pool, flumes, a sauna, a and brand new well equipped gym. There is also a beauty spa, horse riding, high ropes/tree climbing experience and archery to name a few (all at additional costs)
There is also the Retreat Restaurant serving food daily, Bar and coffee lounge with additional onsite entertainment during school holidays in the Moorlands Suite. A farm shop, cafe and laundrette.
Finlake Holiday Resort is perfectly situated in Chudleigh, a small, friendly village with most things you need, including a Co-op, cafés, takeaways and public houses. This is just a 5 minute drive exiting the left of the park and to your right approximately 10 minutes away, you are in Newton Abbott; a larger town with all amenities including large superstores, petrol stations etc. You are also local to the beautiful Devon coast within only a 15 minutes' drive, with towns such as Teignmouth, Torquay and Exmouth on your doorstep too. The main city of Exeter is only 30 minutes away and other beautiful towns such as Salcombe, Dartmouth & Brixham also only a short drive away. There are ample attractions and days out available to you all year round to many to mention. There are plenty of brochures and recommendations of places to go, see and do at Main Reception.
