Caravan Description
My privately-owned caravan is situated in a lovely, quiet part of the park, yet is also just a couple of minutes’ walk from the show bar, reception, fish & chip shop and hotel facilities.
The caravan sleeps 6 people in two bedrooms and a put up bed in the lounge. The master bedroom has a double bed, plus an en-suite toilet and wash basin. There are two wardrobes with plenty of hanging and shelving space, along with 3 drawers and a separate cupboard, plus dressing table with mirror. There is also a small TV with Free view with built in DVD player.
Due to coronavirus, I won’t be doing bedding, so you will need to bring your own duvet covers, pillow case and sheets.
The second bedroom has two single beds that can be put together to make it into a double ( please ask for this when booking). It also has two cupboards, a bed side cabinet and a wardrobe, which has a small TV with Free view Plus there is a PS4 and a few games
Pillows, mattress protectors and duvets are all included in the price, but there is a £25 charge for bedding (duvet cover, sheets, pillow cases) – again, please ask for this when booking.
The bathroom is fitted with a half size bath with overhead shower, a sink, toilet, wall panel heater and cupboard.
The kitchen is fitted with a full size cooker and fridge, plus a half size freezer, along with all the normal things, such as a kettle, toaster, microwave and iron with table top ironing board. There is ample cutlery, crockery, pots and pans to enjoy your holiday.
The very spacious lounge area has a pull-out double bed housed in the wrap around seating, a large 42” flat screen TV with Free view, a DVD player, due to Coronavirus things like books, cd and dvds have been removed, so remember to bring your own. It’s for your own safety.
The dining area has a large table with ample seating for 6 people.
Heating is by gas fire in the lounge and wall panel heating in both bedrooms and the bathroom.
Outside there is a concrete parking bay for 2 cars. There is decking that is enclosed and has a table and chair and a two seater swinging bench.
All gas and electric is included in the price.
Entertainment passes are NOT included in the price. These can be bought separately from the reception.

About the Area
Southview Leisure Park is Lincolnshire's premier 4* Leisure Park situated just a few minutes drive from the seafront of Skegness with all its shops, amusement arcades, lively entertainment and wonderful attractions for the family. If you fancy leaving the car for a day there is an excellent bus service which runs direct from the park into Skegness.At Southview you will find all the usual facilities plus many more to keep you and your family occupied during your stay.
SPORTING ACTIVITIES: Southveiw has a large indoor heated swimming pool with water slide and a smaller area just for the little ones, plus a Jacuzzi. There is also a fitness gym and snooker lounge. Outdoors there is a 9 hole golf course with putting green, fishing lakes and a bowling green, there are pedal carts you can hire.
FACILITIES: Sun beds and sauna, Children's pool, Restaurants, Sports bar and Hotel bar with entertainment, children's play areas, Amusement Arcade, plus a new internet café. There is a Mini market and launderette.
Please note passes are required to use the facilities at Southview and these are not included in the price of your holiday. They can be purchased on arrival and for the 2020 season are:- 7th April -22nd April & 26th May– 8th September £66 per 2 bed unit per week, £46 per 2 bed unit per short break All other dates £50 per 2 bed unit per week, £37 per 2 bed unit per short break. You can get these from reception, you will need a passport size photo of everyone over the age of five, under fives are free.
ACTIVITIES: Club room with party nights, cabaret, link bingo, disco and lots of children's activities including little Sparks for under 5's, Sparky's Krew Club for 5-11 years and Xcite for 12-16 years.
Local Area
If you fancy a trip off site, as well as Skegness there is the vibrant town of Mablethorpe or Chapel St Leonards which are only a short drive away. The antique shops of Horncastle are very close by. Or perhaps the very lively Pleasure Island with its wonderful Sunday market. If a more leisurely holiday is planned there is the nearby National Trust property at Gunby Hall or perhaps Gibraltar Point or just simply drive off and lose yourself in the Lincolnshire Fens. In November/December there are the magnificent baby seals to be seen on the beaches at
Donnor Nook which is about 45 minutes drive from Southview.
