Caravan Description
Dave and Lyn would like to welcome you and invite you to read the details, and hopefully book, our new for the 2012 season, luxury 3 bedroom holiday caravan.
Our main aim is to go that extra mile to put all the little extras into place to make your holiday extra special.
Our accommodation consists of a spacious main double bedroom with plenty of storage space and it has its own door into the additional WC containing a toilet and wash hand basin. There are 2 additional bedrooms with twin beds and storage space.
The main shower room has a roomy walk-in shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
The fully-fitted, high spec. kitchen has a full size cooker, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and ample crockery, cutlery and glassware for a maximum of 8 people.
There is a comfortable dining area with full size dining table and chairs and this leads onto the very roomy and comfortable lounge area, extremely well fitted out with plenty of comfortable seating including two sofas, one of which becomes the pull-out sprung bed for the additional sleeping space. There is a large flat screen LCD TV which has all Freeview channels, a DVD player, CD/radio player and a PlayStation 3 with a selection of games. There’s also a selection of books, board games, jigsaws, playing cards etc., and a selection of DVDs.
Some of the additional extras that we supply are boxes of facial tissues in lounge and main bedroom, soft toilet tissue, shower body wash, hand-wash to both hand basins and by the kitchen sink, hand sanitizer, dish cloths, tea towels, a scourer, clothes airier and clothes pegs, salt, pepper and vinegar, plus paper kitchen towels.
A travel cot and highchair are available for free loan if required.
Bed linen is provided; your beds in the bedrooms will be made up on your arrival. If you should book a 2 week holiday we will change your bed linen mid-holiday, or we can provide you with fresh linen so you can change at your leisure should you so prefer.
Our caravan is centrally heated and double glazed with the latest high levels of insulation making this a holiday home to be enjoyed at anytime of the year.
Our caravan comes with all required safety requirements such as smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers.
Outside there is a large veranda with a lockable gate to keep little ones safe, plus seating. There is also a gas BBQ for the use of visitors whilst staying at the caravan, along with a selection of buckets and spades for the little ones to use on the beach.
Our caravan is situated on plot Orange 14, which is only a short walk from the main resort and spa buildings that include the indoor heated swimming pool complex with many water features and access to the outside heated swimming pool. This is overlooked by a first class gym with all the latest equipment, also the Spa which offers full pamper treatments and spa experiences, and the Reception area to deal with any queries you may have. From the Main Reception area there is a lift and/or stair access to the first floor bar, pizzeria, amusement arcade, large indoor soft play adventure playground and viewing of the heated outdoor swimming pool and sun terraces.
To the side of the main buildings there is a supermarket shop that is comprehensively stock with all the essentials for your stay. It also offers newspapers, off licence and gift shop items. Adjacent to the shop is a large outdoor adventure playground area with safety flooring.
Just across a very quiet road with lots of traffic calming features there is the main nightclub area of Waterside that has a variety of first class entertainment, including cabaret acts, cash bingo and competitions etc. etc. This is where the children's entertainment is held on a nightly basis.
In this area between Waterside and the beach there is a wide selection of different eating facilities including a fish & chip shop and ice cream parlour. There is also a small funfair area and amusement arcade, plus a large gift shop.
There is a large grassed area overlooking Bowleaze Cove and Weymouth Bay and there is a large weekly car boot sale held here throughout the season. There is a bus that runs from inside the Waterside Park into the main Weymouth Town.

Booking Conditions:- We require a £100.00 non refundable deposit to secure the booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before the holiday.

About the Area
Weymouth, in my view, is a lovely old fashioned holiday resort. The main Promenade area has lots of family run hotels and gives that lovely feel of the quintessential family holiday. Weymouth town also offers a large pedestrianized shopping area with shops to suit all tastes.Weymouth offers diverse interest for all ages from the wonder of Punch and Judy shows on the sands to nightclubs. From the hustle and bustle of old Weymouth Quay with its fishing boats, you can take a boat trip to various places from the quayside, antique and collectable shops, crafts, etc, etc.
If you fancy a trip a bit further afield there is beautiful old Portland with all its lovely stone houses, a weekly market and the scenery from Portland is breathtaking. There is Monkey World where the famous TV programmes are made, always a family favourite and well worth a visit. Close to Monkey World is the famous Bovington Tank Museum where you can get right up to, and even in, lots of old tanks and army vehicles and experience life in the wartime trenches with the real sounds and aromas to make it very lifelike, a must for the boys! In the caravan will be a large selection of leaflets on different places of interest and these often include money off vouchers so don’t forget to take a look!
If you want to be really daring you can even visit the shark and piranha exhibits at the Sealife Centre which is only a few minutes drive from Waterside.
