About the Area

Warren Bay Holiday Village is a quiet family run park on the north Somerset coast overlooking the Bristol Channel.

Dogs are welcome on the park and there is access to the local fossil beach, which is just a couple of minutes walk away. The beach is a great place for fossil hunting and rock pooling, fishing etc. Kids just love it!

Facilities on the park include a heated indoor swimming pool and toddler pool (seasonal opening times). There is also a launderette with washing and drying machines, and recycling facilities on site.

A well stocked on site shop sells provisions such as newspapers, magazines, eggs, milk, bacon, sausages etc. There is also an off licence within the shop.

There is a small childrens play area for under 8's on the site.

There is now Wi-Fi available on site.

Locally

The nearest pubs and restaurants are to be found in the local historic harbour town of Watchet, just 3 to 4 minutes drive (15 minute walk) down the road. Watchet has several pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and there are also fish & chips and other takeaways in the village.

The historic town of Watchet is steeped in history and has the West Somerset Railway line running through its own train station, which runs real steam trains from March to October. There is also a local museum in the centre of Watchet town, which has many Exhibits from the days of the mineral line, which is famous in the area and a mixure of fossils found on the local beaches (entrance to the museum is free).

There are also daily fishing trips avaialble for the sea fairing legs; booking available in the local shops of Watchet.

The village of Dunster is just 10-15 minutes drive away, which is considered by many to be the gateway to Exmoor National Park. Dunster has many lovely, quaint little shops and tea rooms, and even boasts its own castle and grounds which are open to the public and run by the National Trust.

Not forgetting the Exmoor ponies, which roam wild !!!

Minehead is a 10-15 minute drive and boasts an array of arcades, pubs, restaurants etc. with a weekly holiday market and also a continental market. And of course the famous Butlins resort, whereby daily family tickets can be purchased for a great day out !

You can find noise and excitement, but at the end of the day when you need peace and quiet, our site is the the ideal location.

As this is a quiet family orientated park we prefer no same sex group bookings please, i.e. stag/hen parties etc.
