About the Area
The caravan is situated on this quiet, family orientated site with a clubhouse that is open to all residents, and which has children's and adults entertainment during peak season (school holidays).Located on the edge of Sandown this tranquil site is a haven for wildlife and if relaxation is what you require then you can do this on the verandah sheltered from any breeze yet getting the sun from the moment it rises to the moment it sets ! Also on site is:
Outdoor heated swimming pool, open May to September, Clubhouse bar with evening and occasional daytime entertainment (meals and snacks available), Children's play area, Laundry facilities including washing machines, dryers and ironing facilities, Amusement arcade and pool tables.
Local Area
Outside the main gate there is a convenience store, as well as several large supermarkets within a few minutes drive.
The local bus service stops outside the site giving access to the island and its many places of interest for both old and young. 20 minutes walk from the site is Sandown promenade, and en route to the promenade there are several public houses which cater for families, provide good eating and are very popular.
The island has a wealth of attractions as well as many beautiful sandy beaches. A comprehensive holiday pack is provided which not only gives a wealth of details about the caravan but also provides information about the local restaurants and pubs (including some personal recommendations) and also details of some of the vast number of attractions on the island.
