Our Willerby 'Leven' is a fully central heated and double glazed, 4/6 berth holiday home situated at site Glamorgan55, on the Brynowen Holiday Park in Borth, near Aberystwyth.

The lounge furniture is made up of a comfortable corner sofa unit and a free-standing armchair, with a coffee table, cupboards and widescreen TV. The TV is fully digital on Freesat, but if you wish to use your own Sky box and card, a satellite dish connection is available. The dining area forms part of this room with a table and four chairs, plus additional cupboards and racks. There is also a gas fire to boost the temperature if required.

The kitchen area is well equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer, and all the usual crockery and cutlery. There is also a toaster and electric kettle.

A corridor gives access firstly to the toilet/shower room and then to a twin bedroom with wardrobe and cupboards. At the end of the corridor is the main double bedroom with en-suite facilities, large wardrobe, drawers and cupboards.

Outside the holiday home on the veranda is a table and four chairs, and there is parking for one car.

The location of the holiday home offers views of part of the Dovey Estuary with Cader Idris in the distance, and a short walk soon gives impressive views of Cardigan Bay.

About the Area

Brynowen has all the facilities for a perfect family holiday and there is plenty to offer all ages: the entertainment complex hosts cabaret acts plus other entertainment; there are kids' clubs for all ages, an indoor heated swimming pool with a flume, as well as a quieter diner and bar with an associated patio area. There is also an arcade and a miniature tenpin bowling alley.

Brynowen Holiday Park is open from March through to October and is a fantastic place to stay at any time of year.

Local Area

The areas of Plynlimon to the east and Snowdonia to the north provide a rich opportunity for walking and exploring. Nearer to hand is the sandy beach of Ynyslas to the north of the town, while Borth itself can provide youngsters with hours of fun in rock pools and safe sea swimming from a Blue Flag beach.

Mention has already been made of Ynyslas (pronounced Un-is-las), where the sand dunes are extensive and beautiful and act as a wall to protect the Dovey Estuary from the wilder excesses of Cardigan Bay. The beach there is soft and open and is a favourite spot for children of all ages. The furthest point on the road there leads to the estuary with clear views of the mountains and the town of Aberdovey on the other side.

In addition to this, Borth has a Links golf course, there is the university town of Aberystwyth a few miles to the south, a silver mine on Plynlimon and also on the top of Plynlimon, Bwlch Nant, a centre for walking, an RSPB bird watching area, with particular reference to Red Kites, and mountain biking on a variety of different tracks.
