Caravan Description
Our 28 x 12, Willerby Cottage mobile home is located on a quiet pitch away from the immediate busy parts of the site, but still within easy reach of the pool and reception area.
The accommodation comprises of:
A double bedroom, with a large wardrobe, one twin with a wardrobe, each with drawer space. There is also a pull-out double bed in the lounge/dining area.
In the air conditioned large living area there is built-in seating, together with a dining table, a gas fire, satellite TV a built-in DVD player. (to receive English free sat programmes)
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas hob, an extractor hood, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and counter top electric oven. Also provided is an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. There is a travel cot and buggy in the home.
The home has a washing machine and the use of four bikes (see photo) one of which has a child carrier and another a child trailer for 2 children (or shopping.)
All bed linen can be provided if pre-booked, at a small extra cost - please enquire. However, guests are required to bring towels and tea towels. Pillows and quilts are provided as standard
Outside there is a large deck with a shade canopy at one end, and also provided are two folding washing lines, plus a small charcoal barbeque. A large table and enough chairs to seat 6. Two sun loungers on the paved patio area at the front of the home.
There is parking space on the gravel pitch area for one car.
The home is fed by mains gas, so there is no gas bottle to change.
La Carabasse
La Carabasse is a well cared for site that has Four Star status (the highest available in France) because of its outstanding reputation and amenities. It does not permit touring vehicles or tents on the park.
There is a magnificent pool complex, suitable for all ages, which has recently been refurbished (2011); there is a main pool, a shallow pool for young children and a paddling pool for tots, plus two water slides.
Children are well catered for in the high season with daily entertainment as well as children's clubs - something to occupy them all day and evening.
Fun passes will be required for the pool area and children's clubs, which can be purchased from siblu prior to arrival and you will receive details from them direct by email, prior to your stay
Overlooking the pool area is the outside stage for nightly entertainment in main season.
La Carabasse is a quieter site until early July, when it becomes a bustling site during the peak months with lots to do. On site there is a sports area for ball games, a petanque pitch, tennis courts, outdoor children’s playing area and cycle hire as well as a well stocked on site shop with bakery and butchery.
La Carabasse has two bars, the Archipel bar located at the pool area and the Atoll restaurant & bar located just inside the gates. It has a take away service, pizzeria a cafe/bar area and two launderettes.
Wi-Fi can be obtained for a nominal charge or internet access can be gained from terminals in the Atoll bar, but reception is variable.
Terms and Conditions
At the time the booking is accepted a 50% non refundable deposit is required, plus a £150 refundable damage deposit. (Please ensure you are adequately insured). This damage deposit will be refunded as soon after the completion of the holiday following an inventory and damage report by the cleaning staff.
The balance of the holiday rental must be paid 8 weeks before the arrival date. If your booking is made within 8 weeks of the required date, then the full rental amount is required immediately.
Please note: to use the pool and kids' clubs you will need to buy a “fun pass” from Siblu reception. We DO NOT INCLUDE this in the price.
The accommodation must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Arrivals are after 4pm
By making a booking for this unit you agree to be considerate and take good care of the property, respect the enjoyment of those in neighbouring properties, and to comply with the rules in force on the park during the course of your stay.
Bookings from all male or all female parties are not accepted.
Refunds and Cancellation of Booking
If you cancel your booking your damage waiver will be returned complete.

About the Area
The beach is approximately ten to fifteen minutes walk or it can be reached easily by bicycle (available for hire on-site or locally). La Carabasse has a private door to the beach path. It is about a 10 minute walk from the site to the lovely beach at Vias through a vineyard (with a pushchair - 15-20 minutes). On the beach there is a bar selling snacks, drinks and ice creams. There's also beach sun loungers and various water sports available for hire.Outside the park you will find many shops, bars and restaurants, all within a few minutes walk.
There is a Euro Fun Park also within walking distance, for some outside entertainment. The town of Vias is a 5 minute drive away, and is well served with restaurants, 2 supermarkets and a market twice a week. Vias has a market every Wednesday and Saturday from early morning to 1pm. Why not get yourself a bargain.
Also nearby are go-karting, crazy golf, horse-riding, bike-hire (which is also available on the park).
There are some very beautiful historical villages and places of interest nearby which include: Canal du Midi, Pezenas, Cap D'Agde, Montpellier, Bezier and Carcassonne. No visit to France would be complete without a visit to one of the many vineyards, for which this region is famous and which you will find in abundance on your doorstep. The area is very well served by airport and transport links. Nearby airports include: Beziers (10 minutes by car/taxi), Carcassonne, Nimes, Montpellier, Rodez, Perpignan and Girona (Barcelona).
