Caravan Description
Our mobile home for hire on Les Amiaux is bright, comfortable and well-equipped.
There is a spacious lounge/dining area with a table and seating, whilst the fully-equipped kitchen includes a gas cooker, fridge and microwave. There are plenty of storage cupboards, together wtih cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
There are two bedrooms - the main bedroom has a double bed with a wardrobe and cupboard space. There is also a twin bedroom, again with a wardrobe and shelf space. The lounge/dining area also has a double make-up bed, providing accommodation for a total of 6 people.
There is a shower room with wash basin and a separate toilet situated next to the bedrooms.
The mobile home has hedges on 3 sides providing privacy when relaxing outside. We have garden furniture for your use, including sun-loungers, a table with an umbrella and a BBQ for outside dining. There is also plenty of parking in front of the mobile home.
Duvets and pillows are provided, but please bring your own linen (duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases, towels, tea-towels etc.).
Basic cleaning products and equipment are left in the mobile home but anything not supplied is easily available in the campsite shop. I am happy to supply an inventory of all available contents of the mobile home upon request.
All gas, electricity and water usage is included in the rental rate.
I belong to a group of UK owners at Les Amiaux which employ the services of 'hosts' to welcome you on your arrival and who will be happy to help you if needed during your stay.

About the Area
LocationLes Amiaux is a 4* tree-lined, family friendly and peaceful campsite, backed by unspoilt woods and beaches. The site is set in a 30 acre park in the Vendee area of France which has its own micro-climate providing comparable hours of sunshine to the south of France.
Far enough from St Jean-de-Monts to feel totally rural, it is still close enough to enjoy the weekly markets (Wednesday and Saturday) and to access the local supermarkets. There are several good restaurants between the campsite and St Jean-de-Monts with others available in town.
A half mile woodland walk (or cycle) leads to one of the many wide sandy beaches which are very safe for children.
If you prefer staying on site, there are 3 pools for both adults and children and a splash zone for younger children. There is a solar-heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool with water chutes and a further outdoor pool with sun-loungers next to the splash zone.
Sporting facilities on site include tennis courts, table tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, snooker and areas to play boules. There are also plenty of cycle tracks around the area and safe areas for children to cycle on-site.
There is a grocery store open daily, offering a good range of products at reasonable prices. The site reception is open from 8am until 6pm for general enquiries. There is also a licensed bar, with WiFi access, satellite TV, a few arcade games and nightly entertainment together with a restaurant and a take-away with reasonably-priced food.
To ensure a peaceful night's sleep and security, the site gates are closed to vehicles from 11pm to 7am, but keys are available if you will be out late.
