Caravan Description
Our modern, 3 bedroom chalet-style mobile home with air conditioning is sited in a premium position at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac on this popular five star site.
The location is ideal for families with children and has the added security of a large wooden patio decked area with securable gates.
The mobile home is fully equipped to a very high standard and includes a fully equipped kitchen with oven, grill, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and all utensils,crockery etc.
The mobile home has 3 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 2 which have twin beds. All have built in cupboards and wardrobes.
Pillows and duvets are provided (2 different tog ratings are available for all the beds) but sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are not supplied.
There is a TV set with a dish tuned in for english language channels, a DVD player is included as well as an extensive selection of modern books and a wide range of inside and outside games for both children and adults..
There is a shower/washroom and a separate WC.
Also included is the free use of a gas BBQ, a large George Forman grill and a washing machine that is housed in a separate shed next to the mobile home, which is also available as an additional storage area.
An iron, ironing board and travel cot are also available.
The large wooden decking, which abuts the mobile home, is accessed through the double doors at the front. As this decking is at the same level as the floor of the mobile home it acts as an extension of the living space.
The decking is fitted with a permenant waterproof roof and removable side curtains for additional privacy if required. The decking is fitted with securable gates at either end for increased security for families with young children. There is a large exterior table with 6 chairs, plus a selection of sun loungers and occasional chairs.
The emplacement has a large parking space and an additional exterior flagged patio area, which can be used for sun- bathing etc.
The price is fully inclusive, but during July & August a small additional tourist tax is levied by the local council.
Mid week to mid week bookings are available especially in the low season.

About the Area
Camping Bois SoleilCamping Bois Soleil is a five star site situated in a pine forest adjacent to extensive golden, sandy beaches. The village of St Georges de Didonne is situated about 1km away along either the promenade or beach.
The site has a modern heated outdoor pool, adjacent restaurant/bar/take-away complex, activity rooms for pool video games etc. and several table tennis tables and children's play areas. For the more active a tennis court is available, several boules areas are in regular use and bikes are available to rent. In high season there is an organised children's club and a wide variety of evening entertainment. The site also has a small but well-equipped supermarket.
Beaches
The beach is approximatly 500m from the mobile home and we supply parasols and beach mats. The beaches are extensive and clean, and parts are patrolled by lifeguards in high season. The beach is gently shelving so is ideal for chidren of all ages. For the more adventurous, the Cote Sauvage to the north provides heavy breakers and more challenging sea conditions.
Places to Visit
St Georges de Didonne is a quiet village that comes to life in July and August. There is entertainment in the village square most mornings and evenings, plus plenty of cafes and restaurants. It has the usual blend of French shops and is ideal for lazy mornings watching the world go by. The village market is open every day and provides the ideal place to practice your French.
Royan (5km to the north) is a busy cosmopolitan town with dozens of restaurants and street upon street of up-market shops. Its large market is well worth a visit and most visitors make a visit to the E LECLERC supermarket (I`m not sure how many survive).
Further afield are Cognac and Saintes, La Rochelle and the famous oyster growing regions, plus a multitude of typically French villages such as Talmont, Meschers and Mornac.
