Our mobile home at L'Hippocampe campsite in Argeles sur Mer in the South of France, is ideal for self catering holidays. Our Caravan has 3 bedrooms, 2 showers and 2 toilets.
A master bedroom, with large en-suite shower and toilet. Two twin bedrooms. Pillows and duvets supplied. Separate shower and toilet.
Large fridge and freezer. Four burner hob. Combi microwave/grill/oven.

About the Area
L’Hippocampe is a lovely site, which we think has the best of both worlds; a small site with access to all the facilities of the larger sister site across the road. With only 197 pitches it has a friendly atmosphere where you and the children will soon meet new friends.The swimming pool complex has a great main pool plus a shallow pool for the very young ones, along with water slides and a water chute. This is surrounded by a large bathing area. The children’s play area, although at the far side of the site, is only a minute’s walk from our mobile. Here you will find plenty to entertain children of all ages and the more energetic, will often be able to join a game on the multi sports ground, which is next to the play area.
To relax in the evening, you can go to the Bambou Bar and Restaurant, with its terrace or air-conditioned room, where you can enjoy Asian cuisine or cool down with a cocktail. Or enjoy the evening entertainment.
Activity Pass
All of our clients staying at L’Hippocampe, will be given a wrist bracelet which will be your ‘Pass’ to all of the activities on both sites: Tropical swimming pool complex, tennis courts, mini golf, archery, table tennis, children’s play areas, multi-sport ground, football pitch, beach volleyball, boules area, children’s club (over 6 years), various entertainment, shows. Entrance to pub and disco (during high season), wind surfing club, FREE Bus to north beach in July and August.
La’Sirene
On the larger site, you will find the site shops with a well-stocked mini supermarket, bakery, newsagent and a toy shop. Along with more places to eat or to pick up a takeaway.
Sypox Theatre
In the evenings you will be able to see some excellent shows such as Lion King, Blues Brothers and Grease, which are all well worth seeing, and FREE, (you should arrive very early, if you want to have a table or sit with friends, as they are always very popular).
Beaches
The nearest beach is the North Beach which is only 800m away from site. (Free Bus during July and August). There are also beaches in Argeles Plage and La’Racou which is near the port.
