Caravan Description
Our holiday home is an excellent mobile home situated on the outstanding La Reserve holiday park, which is an ideal family holiday destination.
The mobile home is spacious and sleeps up to 8 people. It consists of a lounge, dining area, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a shower room and a separate toilet.
The lounge has comfortable seating, which incorporates a pull out double bed. There is a radio/CD player.
The kitchen is fully fitted with a full size gas oven and hob, a fridge/freezer and microwave oven. The cupboards not only offer plenty of storage, but house a generous stock of crockery, glasses, cutlery and cookware.
The master bedroom has a full size double bed and built in wardrobes. There is a fixed hairdryer in this room.
The second bedroom has two single beds and a built in wardrobe. The third bedroom has bunk beds and a built in wardrobe.
All bedrooms have pillows and duvets, so all you have to supply is bed linen. However, this can be hired from reception.
There is a shower room which has a shower cubicle and a free standing sink. There is a separate toilet.
Outside the decking area is partly shaded and has a patio table and chairs for al-fresco eating. There is also a gas barbecue. The pitch is grassed, with sun loungers available to soak up the sun.
Getting There
Bordeaux Airport is just under an hours drive away. Ferries to St Malo, Caen, L'Havre, Santander or Bilbao
Please note that fun passes are not included but can be purchased at reception on arrival.

About the Area
La Reserve is situated within the pine forests of Aquitaine on Lake Biscarosse. The lake is shallow with a wide sandy beach, so is ideal for young children. There is a private port, so you are able to bring your boat subject to local regulations. Rockley Watersports run sailing courses approved by the RYA. However, water skiing, dinghies, canoes,and windsurfers can all be hired from the lake beach. Fishing is also available with the required permit.There are beautiful beaches from which you are able to surf/bodyboard, the nearest being Mimizan Plage or Biscarosse Plage, which are approximately 20km from the park. Around the lake and through the forests there are numerous walking and cycling trails. The terrain is quite level so family cycle rides are popular.
At La Reserve there are 3 outdoor swimming pools, one with water slides, and a heated indoor pool. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pools for topping up your tan.
There is plenty for children of all ages to do from free children's clubs for children aged from 1 - 14+ to the multi-sports pitch. Along with bars, a restaurant and family entertainment La Reserve offers a relaxed family holiday.
