Turnberry Caravan Site has a sizeable club house that has a great atmosphere and an adjacent beer garden with a play area and trampoline for the children. Please note that until June 2007, children under 14 are not allowed in the Bar.

Also from June 2007 there will be a restaurant for dining in the bar and a takeaway outlet for pizza and other hot snacks. A small grocery shop is on site for essentials.

This peaceful site is so handy for the beaches and local harbours. Boat/Fishing trips are also available to the nearby Ailsa Craig. Nearby is the famous Turnberry Golf Course which makes this site perfect for golfing enthusiasts. There are 9 hole courses also within a couple of miles of the park for the less extravagant. A Pitch and Putt site is just up the coast along with the Turnberry Hotel Spa Centre. Horse riding along the beach is available in Ayr and there is no shortage of things to do for all ages and tastes; Castles, Museums, Art Gallery’s, Theme Parks, Animal Parks, Kids play Centre’s, Parks, Wine Bars Pubs Clubs and Theatres.

There are lots of excellent eating places in Ayr which is less than half an hour away. For those wanting to venture a little further a field, Glasgow is an hour and a half away for fantastic shopping.
