Our caravan is sited in a quiet corner of the site. We prefer this as we like to get away from the noise associated with night clubs and entertainments, which takes place in the on site Clubhouse each night.

Withernsea Sands Holiday Park

Our caravan is on Park Resorts Withernsea Sands Holiday Caravan Park.

Some of the new facilities available this year include a new indoor swimming pool and a new clubhouse, where meals are available and live entertainment is provided each evening for both adults and children.

Supervised daytime and early evening activities are also available during high season with a quieter programme at other times. Passes to use the site facilities, including the swimming pool, can be bought from reception upon arrival.

We are in a quiet corner of the park, which makes it ideal for young children and the elderly alike, being well away from site traffic.

The Sandy beach is only a 5 minute walk away, and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk into Withernsea!

Withernsea is a small traditional seaside town near Hull. It is not overly commercialised (having only two amusement arcades!!!). The whole area is very flat and most of the shops etc,. have no steps into them, which is ideal for the elderly and infirm.

There is an open air market held three times a week and a car boot sale on a Sunday. There is also a leisure centre located in the centre of town, a lighthouse, which has been turned into a museum, and plenty of small shops to explore. There is also a Tesco, Proudfoots and Poundstrecher for food/goods in and around the centre of town.

In the surrounding area there is Hull, having all the major outlets, The Deep, Europe's deepest viewing tunnel, and nightlife etc. Or why not go up the coast to Filey, Hornsea or Bridlington, all of which have their own unique appeal.

For you nature lovers, why not visit Spurn Point Nature Reserve, or RSPB Bempton Cliffs amongst others.
