The caravan has a larger than average, lawned edge pitch (i.e. no people walking through). This is very useful for games and gives plenty of room for children to play. There is also a large patio area adjacent to the caravan with patio table, 4 chairs and a Queen Anne bench, which is ideal for those lazy days (or nights).
The pitch itself is situated towards the quieter end of the park (approximately 500m from entertainment complex).

Further afield are Wordsworth's Houses at Grasmere, excellent shopping at Barrow or Lancaster, a steam yacht on Coniston or walking in the Cumbrian mountains.
