Golden Sands Holiday Park
Golden Sands Holiday Park is directly opposite a
blue flag beach which is no more than a five minute walk away.
The town of Mablethorpe is close by and although within walking distance, a
land train runs regularly from the site to the town and also a sand train
will take you along the beach to the town.
On site there are two heated pools with flumes, one indoor and one outdoor,
where a range of activities are on offer from learning to swim to aqua jets
and wave rider. There are plenty of children's activities including sports,
play areas, indoor soft play area, go karts, pool, snooker and mini tenpin
bowling. There is a convenience store with bakery and a choice of cafes,
bars and entertainment venues. A launderette, gift shop, and hire shop are
also situated on site.
A little further afield but only a short drive away can be found Pleasure
Island Theme Park, The Old Curiosity Museum, Animal Gardens Nature Centre &
Seal Trust, Theddlethorpe Dunes and Black Cat Equestrian for horse riding
and lessons.
