Lodge Description
Bayview log cabin holiday lodge is situated on a small farm overlooking the beautiful Cardigan Bay with views to Aberystwyth and the Llyn Peninsular. Its rustic charm and rural coastal setting provides the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a great base to explore the Ceredigion/Pembrokeshire coastline with easy access straight onto the coastal path.
The cabin is open plan, sleeping 2 in a double bed in the bedroom area (complete with wardrobe).
Step down into the living area to a 3 seater leather settee positioned perfectly in front of the log burner and TV for snuggling up on those chillier nights.
Leading on from this is the dining area, with table and chairs, and the most amazing view! Watch the sun rise through the large window, or open up the patio doors and let the outside in. With the sea creating an ever changing backdrop, the view truly is beautiful!!
The kitchen provides everything you will need, including a fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and utensils...... just bring your food!
The bathroom is the one enclosed area offering a w/c, hand basin and shower.
Outside the cabin is a patio area providing you with an additional area for relaxing. Complete with a table and chairs, loungers, BBQ and firepit, you have everything you need for the perfect relaxing summer evening!
There is a utility room on site with a washing machine and extra freezer space for your use.
For your convenience, you can also purchase bags of logs from here if you wish.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and we have ample space for your dog to enjoy their time with us during your stay. There are also some beaches where you can walk your dog all year round.
There is a lake available on site; ideal for walking around or having a picnic! You will also meet some of our cheeky animals - goats, Kune Kune pigs, Alpacas, horses, sheep and chickens.

About the Area
Bayview cabin is a leisurely walk across fields to the cliff top where on most days you will have a spectacular view of the bay, often seeing seals and occasionally dolphins!There are various sandy beaches just a short drive away and the lovely beach and cliffs of Mwnt are only five minutes away from the farm. Also nearby are the pretty seaside towns of New Quay (once the home of Dylan Thomas) and Aberaeron. Poppit Sands and Aberporth are also ideal beaches which accept dogs all year around.
The cabin is situated in an ideal spot for touring the Pembrokeshire National Park and the Ceredigion Heritage Coast.
Locally we also have the Wildlife centre offering beautiful walks, cafe & activities. There are outdoor activities from river rafting and tubing to wildlife boat trips to see the seals and dolphins. On the not so warm days you can visit The Welsh Wind gin distillery or our independent cinema Theatre Mwldan, Cardigan Castle or browse the shops and market in Cardigan town.
For those who enjoy eating out there are many pretty fishing villages close by with pubs serving good food and drink, and the small town of Cardigan with several supermarkets, is only four miles away if you prefer to cook your own meals.
So whether you are exploring the area or just relaxing, Bayview Cabin has all you need to enjoy your stay!
