The Eden Project is only a short drive from Summer Lodge. Newquay has a harbour, numerous shops, restaurants, bars and clubs and its own attractions such as The Blue Reef Aquarium, the Zoo, Water World, Trenance Leisure Park and gardens, Boating Lake and much more. Locally there are several course fishing lakes, opportunities to go deep sea fishing, horse riding, play golf or tennis.
