Spacious 12ft wide, two bedroom ABI Narelle static caravan with large, enclosed decking area, situated at the 'bay end' of the park, 5 minutes walk from some of Cornwall's finest sandy beaches.

Manufactured in 2008 the caravan is an older model which doesn't have central heating or double glazing and is priced accordingly to cater for people looking at basic accommodation on a lower budget. The caravan is in great condition for its age and we keep it clean and very well maintained, we also provide many extra niceties like the decking area, patio furniture and BBQ included in the price.

The accommodation includes: 1 double bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe, ample cupboards and drawers, a vanity unit with stool, lamp and power point (a hair dryer is also provided); 1 twin bedroom with two single beds and wardrobe; 1 fold-down double
camp bed in the lounge (* please see note below)

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas cooker, fridge with small separate freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and enough cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils and glassware for six people. We also provide a steam iron and ironing board for your convenience.

The large open plan lounge and dining area includes two tables, comfy seating, a gas fire, 32" HD TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and DAB radio.

In the shower room is a shower cubicle, wash basin and flush toilet.

* Note regarding the accommodation: The caravan has two bedrooms and a fold-down double camp bed. Though it can accommodate a maximum of six people (adults and children), we would advise that it is not really suitable for more than four adults (or a combination of adults and teenagers) and all of their luggage. For this reason we prefer not to take bookings for more than four people, however we do occasionally accept extra people but this will be dependent on the make up of your party - please contact the owners for more information

We provide duvets and pillows for the double bed and both single beds, you will need to bring your own duvet covers, bottom sheets, pillow cases, towels, tea towels and a bath/shower mat is recommended.

Please note: In common with the Holiday Park, our prices are based on four (usually two adults and two children) sharing. There is an additional charge of £60 for each extra person per week (up to two extra people) and please remember that you will also need to provide all of your own bedding if the fold-down camp bed is to be used

Outside there is a large fenced-in wooden decking area with gate. A wooden patio table, 4 patio chairs, a parasol and a full size charcoal BBQ are all provided for you. Car parking is available next to the caravan.
Charging of electric vehicles is unfortunately not possible from the caravan (the power outage is not sufficient) and there are currently no charging points available on the holiday park - the nearest charging points are at Tesco in Padstow (about 4 miles away)

Free clubhouse passes are issued on arrival. All electricity, gas and water are included in the price. Swimming pool passes can be purchased from reception for a small fee (a discount is given if these are pre-booked and family/weekly passes are available ). On- site Wi-Fi is only available in the clubhouse and some of the holiday park's own caravans, further coverage is currently being reviewed by the holiday park with possibly a new provider and more coverage for 2024 - please ask reception for more details.

Check in: 2:00PM (sometimes earlier by arrangement) on day of arrival. Check out: by 10:00 AM on day of departure

Dogs are occasionally permitted (at the caravan owners discretion) but this is dependent on the make up of your party and the breed and size of the the dog etc. There is a charge of £75 per dog, per week (maximum of 2 dogs) and a Key deposit of £120 being paid

Booking information:

A 20% holding deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your holiday. The full balance plus a £60 key deposit is due 28 days before your holiday. The key deposit is to cover minor accidental damage, loss of a key or cleaning/soiling rectification and will be refunded within 7 days of your departure provided that the caravan is left in a clean, undamaged state. A vacuum and cleaning products are provided for this purpose.

Please note: all payments made to us are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by you.
In the event of unforseen circumstances we reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time without notice and to refund to you any payment we have received. We accept no liability for any subsequent loss (financial or otherwise) and no compensation will be given.

Only the person or persons named on the booking form may stay in the caravan, any changes must be agreed by us in writing before your holiday. The booking is for the person or persons named on the booking form and is not transferable to any third party.

We will accept payment by cheque or electronic bank transfer.

About the Area

A few minutes walk from the caravan is the Cornish coastal path, which follows the coastline all around Devon and Cornwall. There are several nearby (dog friendly) sandy beaches that are known locally as "the seven bays" (most are RNLI life-guarded in the summer) and include the award winning Harlyn Bay which offers excellent surfing and also boasts a surf school, Booby's Bay (for great fishing and also for the more experienced surfers! ), Constantine Bay, Boat Bay (which joins up with Harlyn Bay at low tide and is also the nearest to the holiday park) and the charming Mother Ivey's Bay (pictured above) where the Padstow offshore RNLI lifeboat is based and where you will find another fishing hot spot from "the Spike"

The nearby village of St Merryn (about a mile from the holiday park) has some great take aways: Spring House Chinese take away (highly recommended) and Fryer Tuck's Fish and chip shop which also has a seated eat-in area. (In high season only) the Cornish arms operates an outdoor Pizza take away located by the car park and there is also a pop-up Lobster and Crab bar situated in the village opposite the garage. There is a petrol station (which also sells lots of hardware, BBQ, angling and camping equipment etc) and behind this is a vehicle repair garage with MOT facilities, a Spar general store with plenty of fresh local produce and a huge walk-in beer/wine cellar, Malcolm Barnecutt bakery, coffee shop, surfing supplies shop and a veterinary surgery. Rafferty's cafe wine bar with it's A'La carte menu, an eat-in gourmet burger restaurant and last but not least there are two good family/dog friendly pubs which both serve good food and Sunday roasts etc: The Farmers Arms in the village and Rick Stein's 'Cornish Arms' just down the road towards Padstow which serves great food and is well worth a visit and is highly recommended.

The nearest large supermarket is Tesco ( where you will also find the nearest electric car charging points and nearest cash point machine) situated on the outskirts of Padstow (about 4 miles away). In Padstow you will find a quaint mixture of shops, pubs, cafes, art galleries, gift shops, high-end fashion stores and restaurants all nestling around the bustling harbour (there is also a nearby Boots Pharmacy and a post office). From the Harbour is a water taxi across to nearby Rock, pleasure boat cruises, speed boat rides and fishing boat day trips are also all available from here. Padstow is also the starting point of the 17 mile 'Camel Trail' with cycle hire available from the South Quay where you will also find the Lobster Hatchery (tours available) and Rick Steins shellfish Bar and Fish and Chip Shop with eat-in restaurant. If eating out is your thing then you are spoilt for choice with many great pubs, bars and restaurants catering for all budgets. From pizza and fish and chips to fine dining at Michelin star winning establishments such as: Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 (middle St Padstow) or Rick Steins famous Seafood Restaurant (Padstow Harbour).

The lively surfing resort of Newquay with it’s Zoo and Blue Reef Sea Life Aquarium has many attractions and is 8 miles away. The Eden Project is around 16 miles away near St Austell and Flambards Amusement Park which boasts many famous rides is 40 miles away at Helston.

Trevose Golf Club and Restaurant with its 9 and 18 hole courses is located across the road from the holiday park near Constantine and the Pig Boutique Hotel with its fine dining restaurant and outdoor (under cover) "Lobster shed" patio dining area (highly recommended) is a few minutes walk away at the end of Lighthouse Road.

Harlyn Sands Holiday Park

Harlyn Sands has many amenities on site including a shop, clubhouse with restaurant and bar, take away, launderette, kids playground, adults and children's entertainment, indoor swimming pool with slide and splash pool (small fee applies - family and weekly passes available).

Please note: the park is family orientated and does not accommodate all male, all female or young mixed parties (sorry - park rules).
