The comfortable lounge area has plenty of seating. There is a large 32” flat screen TV with free-view and built-in DVD player, plus a music system which plays CD’s or dock your ipod/mp3 player and listen to your own music.
The dining area has a table and chairs with patio doors leading out to the veranda area. It is lovely to leave the doors open on a warm day for that outdoor feeling while still inside the comfort of the caravan.
The kitchen area has plenty of cupboard space with an inbuilt fridge. The range style cooker has a glass fold down cover for that extra work-surface, and the extractor hood means that no cooking smells linger or spread to the rest of the caravan. The microwave oven and George Forman grill provide for the rest of your cooking needs.
The living areas are open plan with a door between the living and bedroom area allowing the bedrooms to be kept quiet in the evening while the adults watch TV.
There are three good size bedrooms:
Bedroom one has a double bed, triple mirror fronted wardrobe, drawers and dressing table with stool and over-bed storage.
Bedroom two also has a double bed, a double mirror fronted wardrobe, drawers and dressing table with stool and over-bed storage.
Bedroom three has two single beds which can be joined to make a double. It has a small wardrobe with internal drawers and over bed storage.
Duvets and pillows are provided (new ones each season). You only need to bring your own bed linen although we can provide bed linen at an additional cost.
The caravan has separate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom has a small bath, ideal for bathing younger children and an over shower with folding shower screen making it into a spacious double shower. The under sink cupboard and shelves provide more than enough storage for toiletries.
Outside the caravan is a large veranda 14ft x 12ft. There are table and chairs for outside dining and recliners for those days when you just want to chill out in the sun.
At the back of the caravan is a storage box which is very useful for storing your bulky items such as suitcases, prams and beach essentials. There is also a BBQ which you are free to use, however we do ask that you leave it in the same clean condition that you find it.
Our caravan is well positioned on a very spacious private plot on the edge of the site. It has lovely grassy areas to the side and in front for you to enjoy the views or let the little ones play whilst still in sight either from the lounge area or from the veranda.
Local Area
Our caravan is on The Chase, Anchor Lane. There is a well stocked shop on site with a link machine that has free withdrawals. The beach, family clubs, amusement arcades and shops are only a short walk away.
In the opposite direction is Fantasy Island and it’s markets. It is easy to spend the whole day here scouring the shops and enormous market for bargains and enjoying the rides and amusement arcades. There is a wide range of takeaways, cafes, pubs and restaurants and evening entertainment too.
Just across the road is a fishing lake and Hardy's Animal Farm. On the day we visited we saw piglets being born in the morning and a couple of goat kids in the afternoon – a great day out for the whole family.
A short drive or bus ride takes you to Butlins and its many attractions for day pass holders. Close by you can go cable water skiing, or stock car racing at the stadium. When travelling to Skegness or other local towns there is a bus stop just outside the site gate.
Booking
A £50 deposit secures your booking with the balance payable six weeks prior to your holiday.
We also ask for an £100 bond in case of breakages, lost keys etc. This will, of course, be returned when the caravan has been vacated in a clean condition with no damages.
We have tried to provide everything that you could need for a comfortable holiday so that all you need to bring are towels, tea-towels and bed linen.
