Owner's Description

Luxurious six berth caravan with large veranda to let on a private plot on the edge of ‘The Chase’ caravan site. Minutes away from all the attractions of Fantasy Island, shopping markets and the beach.

The van has double glazing and central heating throughout, ensuring a comfortable stay whatever the weather. We love our caravan as it is the same size as a three bedroom van but because there are two bedrooms, it is very light and spacious and has loads of storage.

The comfortable lounge area has plenty of seating, part of which contains a pull-out double bed. There is a large 32” flat screen TV with free-view and built-in DVD player, a ps2 console and games plus a music system which plays CD’s or dock your ipod/mp3 player and listen to your own music.

The adjoining dining area has a table and chairs with patio doors leading out to the veranda. It is lovely to leave these open on a sunny day for that outdoor feeling while still inside the comfort of the caravan.

The kitchen area has plenty of cupboard space with a large larder fridge/ freezer. It also has a gas cooker, microwave oven plus a George Forman grill for that holiday favourite bacon and eggs. There is an electric kettle, toaster and usual kitchen utensils.

The living areas are open plan with a door between the living and bedroom area allowing the bedrooms to be kept quiet in the evening while the adults watch TV.

There are two great size bedrooms:

Bedroom one is twelve foot wide and has a double bed, triple mirror fronted wardrobe, drawers and dressing table with stool and drawers. It also has an en-suite toilet (and sink) and is very spacious.

Bedroom two has two single beds which can be joined to make a double. It also has mirror fronted wardrobes with internal drawers and a small dressing table area.

Duvets and pillows are provided (new ones each season). You only need to bring your own bed linen although these can be provided for a small charge.

The bathroom has a small bath, ideal for bathing younger children and an over shower with folding shower screen making it into a spacious double shower. The under sink cupboard and shelves provide more than enough storage for toiletries.

Outside

The veranda extends the length of the caravan and provides a large 6’x 12’ sitting area. There are table and chairs for outside dining and recliners for those days when you just want to chill out in the sun.

At the back of the caravan is a storage box containing an electric BBQ. Please feel free to use this, we just ask that you leave it in the same clean condition that you find it. The storage box also provides extra storage for prams, suitcases and beach essentials.

Our caravan is well positioned on the edge of the site, overlooking a large grass area. You can simply enjoy the views or let the little ones play whilst still in sight either from the lounge area or from the veranda.

Local Area

Our caravan is situated on The Chase, Anchor Lane. There is a well stocked shop on site with a link machine that has free withdrawals. The beach, family clubs, amusement arcades and shops are only a short walk away.

Just across the road is a fishing lake and Hardy's Amimal Farm. On the day we visited we saw piglets being born in the morning and a couple of goat kids in the afternoon – a great day out for the whole family.

A short drive takes you to Butlins and its many attractions for day pass holders. Close by you can go cable water skiing, or stock car racing at the stadium. When travelling to Skegness or other local towns there is a bus stop just outside the site gate.

Fantasy Island and the markets area are just a short walk away from The Chase and the beach is a shorter walk still.

Booking

A £50 deposit secures your booking with the balance payable six weeks prior to your holiday.

We also ask for a £100 bond in case of breakages, lost keys etc. This will be returned when the caravan has been vacated in a clean condition with no damages.

We have tried to provide everything that you could need for a comfortable holiday so that all you need to bring are towels, tea-towels and bed linen.
