Within the caravan there is 1 double and 2 single duvets provided, plus 2 pillows per bed. Another duvet and pillows will be supplied if the caravan will be used for more than 4 persons and the living room bed is used. This will be arranged when booking taken.

Bed linen is NOT provided, but can be supplied at an extra cost of £15 to cover laundering. NO towels are supplied

Bookings

Full cleared payment is required one week before your stay. There is also a £50 further payment required to cover any damage or losses. This is returned to you within one week of you vacating if all is in order.

Location

THERE ARE NO FACILITIES ON POPPYFIELDS CARAVAN PARK AT ALL. There is a site warden who lives on site, but there is no shop or any amenities on site.

There are local shops and supermarkets in Brandon and Thetford, so within 3 miles.

The forest is why many people come to this area, for bird watching and cycling. There is also a bird/nature reserve approximately 4 miles away.

Places of interest and things to do in the local area include:

Banham Zoo, Bressington Steam Museum, Norfolk lavender fields, Fishing on the River Ouse, Cycling in the forest , Grimes Graves - for historians, where there was once flint mining, Oxborough Hall - a 15th century moated manor house, West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park, The market town of Bury St. Edmunds, Horse racing at Newmarket, where there is also the horse racing museum, Snetterton race circuit on Sundays and also a very large market.

Places of interest and things to do further afield include:

Pleasure Wood Hills Theme Park, The coastal areas of Wells, Hunstanton & Great Yarmouth, The University City of Cambridge, with its many attractions, The City of Norwich.

The now famous High Lodge, is approximately 2 miles away where you can hire bikes, have lunch and explore the forest. Several times a year High Lodge holds music concerts so this may appeal to some people. For these occasions we will hire out the caravan for a minimum of 2 nights if no other bookings have been taken.
