The Manhattan
This caravan, which we have named ‘The Manhattan’ is situated on plot RW41, which provides plenty of outside amenity space, for playing games or just sitting, relaxing and having a BBQ (BBQ & utensils provided).
The caravan has been recently fully refurbished to a high standard, with new microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and bed linen. Tea, coffee, washing up liquid, tea towel, and a toilet roll are also provided.
It comes fully equipped with heating to all rooms.
A whopping 26 inch flat screen TV and DVD player can be found in the lounge.
There's even a Wi-Fi internet hotspot to keep you connected 24/7, if you
want to that is!!
The 3 bedrooms sleep 6 people, with room for 2 more on the fold-down double
bed in the lounge area.
Location
The caravan is sited just 3 miles from Cowes at Thorness Bay Holiday Park,
on the Isle of Wight.
Thorness Bay is situated on the north coast of the Island and has panoramic
views across the Solent.
During August and September it is possible to watch the world famous yacht
and power boat races, which start and end just a stone's throw away, from
the nearby beach.
For the rambler/hiker, Thorness Bay is situated on the Isle of Wight coastal
footpath, and has excellent bus links to the town within a short distance
from the Park's reception. There are historical and modern attractions,
quaint beauty spots, and of course the many reputable local pubs and
restaurants.
Thorness Bay Holiday Park
The caravan is situated at Thorness Bay Holiday Park which extends down to
sandy beaches, coastal footpaths and a David Bellamy award winning nature
reserve.
The Park offers unrivalled facilities for both adults and children. The
young and young at heart can enjoy the adventure playground, swimming pool
complex (with flumes), kids club, activity workshops, and the beach.
The grown ups are quite happy too, sitting on the terrace overlooking the
sea whilst sipping a refreshing drink. The Park has a liquor licence, but
also sells soft drinks and Costa Coffee.
Then at the end of the day take the whole family down to the Boathouse
Restaurant for a slap up meal and a night of entertainment in the Regatta
View Showbar, you might even spot some familiar famous faces from both TV
and stage, in the outstanding live shows.
As well as the on site restaurant and bars, there is also a Park market,
which stocks a good range of essentials, and a launderette.
Please Note
This is a family park, and not suitable for those looking for 18-30 style
holidays. Loud and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated by the on site
security. However couples as well as families are very welcome to stay and
enjoy the facilities.
Occupancy is restricted to eight persons.
We would ask that shoes are removed when entering the caravan, and smoking
is not allowed! Ash trays will not be provided.
Short haired, house trained pets are welcome, providing any accidents are
cleaned up by their masters. Long haired pets including horses are not
permitted!
