These 2 chalets are situated on the Bermuda Holiday Parks in the Newport area of Hemsby, and are both well equipped and comfortable; perfect for family holidays.

We offer a friendly, personal service, that we feel will make booking a holiday with us an easy and pleasurable experience. We will be there personally to hand over the keys at the start of your holiday and will collect the keys from you on your departure and answer any questions you may have.

Included in the price of your holiday is all bed linen, although we do ask you to bring your own towels and tea towels. We also provide high chairs, travel cots and stair gates free of charge on request.

Free swimming pool passes are also included in the price of your holiday (open Whitsun to mid September only).

NB: Our chalets are strictly non smoking and pets are not allowed.

Accommodation

135 and 146 Bermuda Holiday Park are our 2 storey, house style, 3 bedroom chalets conveniently located near to each other which makes these 2 chalets ideal for larger parties. The chalets accommodates up to 8 people (including 2 on a sofa bed) and 1 baby in travel cot. They both enjoy a sought after position on the park and are fronted by a large family friendly grass area where the children can play while you relax and enjoy the sunshine.

The accommodation in each chalet is arranged over 2 floors with the kitchen, lounge with sofa bed, and bathroom on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. There is 1 double room, 1 twin room and 1 bunk bedroom, with duvets and plenty of pillows provided. The travel cot will fit in either the double or bunk bed room.

The chalets come with everything to make your stay comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen including cooker, microwave and fridge and washing machine plus a seating area. The lounge is comfy with a 3 seater sofa bed and 2 armchairs, plus an LCD flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player all built in. We also provide some books and board games for the quieter moments of your holiday.

Also, for the younger members of your family we include a travel cot, highchair or booster seat, bed guards and stair gates - all free of charge.

The large bathroom is well equipped. It has been newly decorated for the 2011 season and now includes an electric shower over the bath.

Electricity is provided by a £1 coin meter and all bed linen is provided free of charge on full week breaks.

Both of these chalets have been fully redecorated and updated for the 2011 season; new carpets throughout, a shower, flat screen TV, crockery, cutlery and a microwave are just a few of the many improvements made for this year.

Bermuda Holiday Park

The Bermuda Holiday Park on Newport Road is a family friendly park just a few minutes walk away from the glorious sandy Hemsby Beach, and just a 5 minute walk from the Sundowner Holiday Park.

Most of the chalets on this site are privately owned and this helps keep this park such a friendly and enjoyable place to stay.

The Bermuda Holiday Park is the only site in Hemsby that boasts a heated indoor swimming pool.

On site facilities include a large shop for all your day to day needs, a large amusement arcade that including daily bingo and small bowling alley. There is also a club house with great family entertainment for all, including the kids (games, party dances, make and do craft sesion during the early part of the night). The club house also serves a great roast carvery and meals/snacks throughout the evening.

Also on site there is a heated indoor swimming pool (open Whitsun to mid September), a cafe/restaurant offering free kids meals (terms apply), and ample free parking.

Near by off site facilities on Newport Road include the Sunningdale Sports Bar with pub grub, amusement arcades, a general store selling groceries, food and holiday goods, a fish and chip takeaway, various family clubs with family and kids entertainment nightly (some are free and some charge a small entry fee). There's also a family diner/restaurant.

Out and About in Hemsby

Hemsby is a lovely traditional seaside destination on the Norfolk coast where you will find some of the most magnificent sandy beaches Britain has to offer. It is approximately 7 miles from the busier town of Great Yarmouth and just a few miles away from the renowned Norfolk Broads. There are good transport links with regular buses servicing both Newport Road and Beach Road. National Express offer a direct route to Hemsby in peak season from London Victoria and there are frequent train services to Great Yarmouth. It is home to a variety of festivals including a Rock and Roll festival in May and October, a Viking festival in mid summer and a herring festival in September.

Hemsby village has a small shopping parade including a Spar supermarket which is open until late, a post office and gift shop, chemist, hairdressers, and Chinese and Pizza takeaway. You can also visit the local village church which holds regular services and dates from the 14th century. There are plenty of traditional pubs offering quality food and traditional real ales nearby.

During the main season you will also find regular boot fairs in and around Hemsby, along with a pick your own fruit farm a few minutes drive away. There is also Hemsby MegaMaze, a maze made out of corn where you can spend an afternoon having a walk and getting lost. Crabs and Dabs, selling the freshest local fish and shell fish, is only a five minute drive away.

All in all Hemsby has much to offer if you don't want to venture far from your chalet and is a great place for a British holiday. I think there's something for everyone, young and old, couples or families.
