There is even a BBQ so the men can cook! There is parking next to the
caravan.
The caravan has central heating throughout should it be needed.
Gas and electric are free of charge.
A highchair and travel cot are available on request.
We do allow one well behaved dog, but please bring his/her own bed and
bowls.
A deposit of £100 is required, with the balance payable 4 weeks before
arrival.
Thorness Bay Holiday Park
Thorness Bay is set in a quiet wooded area overlooking the Solent, with a
short stroll to the private beach. It is ideally situated for the world
renowned Cowes week in August. You can walk along the coastal path into
Cowes town and watch the racing from the promenade; the walk is about 20
minutes, or you can drive it in 5 minutes.
Park facilities include an indoor pool complex with slides and new this year
hydradomes, blading and for the younger ones aqua baby and tots.
Wi-Fi is available in the clubhouse along with amusements and many indoor
activities, and outside there are sports courts and adventurer playgrounds
etc.
There is a huge entertainment program for all ages, theme party nights,
talent shows, games etc., local bands and cabaret nights. Or if you prefer
you can sit on the boathouse restaurant deck and just relax with a drink
enjoying the views over the Solent.
Entertainment passes are included in the price.
Thorness Bay Holiday Park also has a Parkmart shop and a launderette.
The Isle of Wight
On the Island there is a very popular music festival, which takes place in
June, with some very big names headlining the three day event. This all
takes place 5 miles from this site.
September sees the Bestival at Robin Hill, another very popular family music
event, so be sure to book your ferry for your holiday well in advance to
avoid disappointment; it gets very busy at these times.
The Isle of Wight is a beautiful place to holiday, with stunning scenery and
fantastic sandy beaches. There are many tourist attractions including
Blackgang Chine, Robin Hill,th monkey sanctuary, The Needles Park with its
famous chairlift and coloured sands, Dinosaur farm etc.
There are also lots of pretty villages to visit and have a meal in a pretty
thatched pub.
