The bathroom has the usual WC, hand basin and bath with an electric shower.
The chalets have fitted carpets in the bedrooms and laminate flooring in the lounge/diner and kitchen. Outside the chalets is a paved area,
which is lovely just to sit and take in the relaxing atmosphere. There are deckchairs and a windbreaker to use outside or on the beach, the
choice is yours.
There are a few games, felt pens and colouring books for the children - young and old!!
All chalets are double glazed and UPVC cladded.
Dogs are welcome, however it is a site ruling that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when on site and any fouling must be cleaned up
by the dog owner - we provide nappy sacks in the chalet for this use. Dog biscuits and food bowls are also kept in the chalet.
The electric is by £1 coin meter - this is the site owners charge not ours.
We now offer free bedlinen and T-towels.
We all deserve a break from the hustle and bustle of our busy modern day lives, but alas, we do not always have the funds at hand. For
guests we do offer a payment plan to guarantee that well deserved break - please contact the owner for more information.
California Sands Estate
During your stay you have FREE membership to the Oasis clubhouse which offers a wide range of entertainment and
children are welcome. You also have FREE use of the heated indoor swimming pool. Parking is free on site. Other facilities on site include
amusements, launderette, mini-market (if you prefer a larger supermarket there is a Tesco’s store approximately two miles away at Caister),
and a hire shop where you can hire anything from bedding to wheelchairs to bikes etc.
Don’t fancy cooking? Then there’s the on site cafe which offers a good menu that’s reasonably priced, or there are many take-aways in the
area including fish and chips, chinese or the local free house California Tavern near the beach which is very popular and serves a selection
of food.
Just a short walk from the chalet will take you to a lovely sandy beach. Great Yarmouth is only 5 miles away and about a 10 minute drive, or
you can use the frequent bus service just opposite the site reception. Great Yarmouth, Norfolk has so much on offer whether you are 1 or a
101 - you will be spoilt for choice. There are a whole host of leaflets in the chalets giving you details of what’s on in the location.
We can highly recommend a trip up the Norfolk Broads by boat; this is reasonably priced and so relaxing.
Fancy something faster? Then there’s the option of the pleasure beach in Great Yarmouth or Pleasure Hills. There really is something for
everyone.
