We only have one caravan, this one, so we take excellent care of it and provide as much holiday advice and help as you need - just contact Wendy or John at any time before or during your stay, for tips on where to go, what to see, and how to solve any problems.
You can also visit our site for more information about the area.
Location
The caravan is situated on Thorness Bay Holiday Park, a stones throw from sandy beaches, coastal footpaths, and unrivalled facilities for both adults and children. The young at heart can enjoy the adventure playground, swimming pool complex, kids club, activity workshops, and private beach.
While the more leisurely inclined can take in a live show, sip a cool drink from the terrace of The Boathouse, explore the beautiful countryside, or choose from several mouth-watering restaurants. You might even spot some familiar faces from stage and TV in the headline comedy and music performances.
For the sailing enthusiast, Thorness Bay provides panoramic views across the Solent, including the starting and finishing lines for the world renown Cowes Week sailing and powerboat races. The town of Cowes is just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away - along an unspoilt coastal footpath that leads to the Victorian promenade at Cowes.
Bestival and Isle of Wight Music Festival goers can return after a long day of partying to hot showers, comfortable beds, and home-cooked meals. So come the morning when others are emerging bleary-eyed from mud-splattered tents, you'll be freshly showered and sipping your morning coffee, totally refreshed for your next day of fun.
For the hiker, Thorness Bay is on the Isle of Wight coastal footpath, and has excellent public transport links to the towns, beauty spots, country pubs, and sites of special historic interest.
