Location
Settings don’t come much better than this. We hope you will enjoy a wonderful holiday in Barmouth Bay Park, which sits between a fabulous mountain range and the sea, within the magnificent Snowdonia National Park.
The superb sandy beach is right on your doorstep. Mother Nature really has provided Barmouth Bay with the most beautiful facility possible, but if walking, bird watching or just about any other outdoor pursuit would make your holiday complete then Barmouth Bay is the perfect location for you.
There are plenty of places to visit during your stay. Whether you choose to stay local or venture further out, you will be sure to find something to do. Locally there are children’s farms, slate mines, Barmouth Town and much much more.
Local and surrounding beauty spots include Pant Einion, Arthog and Rhaiadr Ddu waterfalls, the Torrent Walk, Tyn-y-groes, Tal-y-llyn, Fairy Glen and the Precipice Walk. The views from Barmouth's own Panorama Walk are something you must experience.
Barmouth's historic, quaint little town has plenty of shops for gift buying, as well as food markets including Co-op, Iceland and Spar shop. There is also an outdoor market on Thursday and Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. At the harbour you can catch a boat for a short trip over to fairbourne. Check out the quirky little shops or grab some gorgeous fish and chips and sit on the beautiful sandy beach.
From the holiday park entrance turn left and head towards Dyffryn, a few miles down that road on your left hand side there is a small Spar shop with the most fantastic butchers shop inside. Opposite the shop is a petrol station and just past the village is the turning to Shell Island.
If you want to travel further out, why not check out the beautiful castles, surrounding villages etc. My personal favorite is the town of Beaumaris!
Onsite there is a convenience store, chip shop, food bar (candy floss etc) amusement arcade, club which offers food/entertainment, swimming pool, childrens play area, laundry facilities. WI-FI is available – payment for WI-FI is made via paypal or credit/debit card.
Travel
There is also a train station just off the site literally 5-10 minutes walk away from the site. It is a mainline train, so for those who cannot drive, the train is a fantastic alternative, without the need for an extra taxi to your caravan!
Please note - you will need to purchase your ticket to Talybont and ensure you check out the times, as some trains do not stop at this station. Please contact us if you require further information for travel and we will be happy to forward you details of train times.
Whatever you choose to do, we hope you have a fantastic stay. If you do choose our caravan for your stay please let us know if you were satisfied. If not, please let us know what we can do to improve. Your comments are important to us so that we can make sure your stay is as hassle free as it can be.
