The master bedroom is a larger than average double with full size bed, fitted wardrobes and plenty of overbed storage. There is a large mirror and electric shaving point. An electric ceiling heater provides warmth on those colder evenings.
Bedroom two is a twin which can be converted to a double if required. There is a fitted wardrobe and overheard electric heating panel.
The larger than average bathroom has a shower over a half bath; ideal for bathing smaller children. There is an alcove seat allowing you to sit down and soak tired feet after a hard days walking. The water pressure and temperature are excellent.
The galley kitchen comes fully equipped with a range of wall and base units.
There is a full size gas oven and hob, full size fridge with ice box and also separate freezer. All utensils and crockery are provided for your stay including a new microwave oven.
The open plan lounge diner offers plenty of comfortable seating with free standing dining table. There is a gas fire for those colder evenings, flatscreen TV with built-in freeview and DVD, a selection of books and DVDs and Playstation 2 with assorted games.
In addition to the wardrobes in both bedrooms, there are two extra full height cupboards situated in the lounge and hallway. Two deckchairs for your use can be found in the hall cupboard, and hoover, ironing board and iron are located in the lounge cupboard.
Outside there is a new picnic bench with attached seating situated at the back of the caravan for your privacy.
Bookings
A £50 cleaning/damage bond is required in addition to prices shown, which is fully refundable once the caravan has been checked for damage, and that it has been left clean and tidy.
Bed linen can be provided if required at an addtional £5.00 per bedroom.
Please note we do not use a large linen supply company but have our own small stock of linen which is washed and ironed by hand for each visitor.
Please bring your own towels and tea towels.
Thorness Bay Holiday Park
Thorness Bay Holiday Park is an award winning four star site owned by Park Resorts. It offers family fun and entertainment including indoor swimming pool, shop, restaurant serving food all day, launderette with ironing facilities, and a clubhouse providing entertainment for the whole family.
Entertainment passes for the park are not included but can be purchased from reception upon arrival. These cost £52 per party during peak times and £38 per party at all other times.
Facilities at Thorness Bay include:
Indoor fun pool and slide, All-weather multi sports courts, Adventure playground, Amusements arcade, Pool tables and darts, Thorness bay now offers Wi-Fi in the bar.
Club entertainment includes nightly bingo and Sparky's children's clubs, Boathouse Bar and Restaurant, Parkmart store and Launderette.
The Isle of Wight is a walkers paradise. Direct access to the Coastal Path can be found on site.
The nearby town of Newport is the islands capital and boasts an outstanding selection of shops including big high street names and smaller individual outlets.
Although in a quiet area of the island, it doesn't take long to get anywhere. Carisbrooke Castle is a must see with its stunning views and famous donkeys!
We have provided leaflets detailing the islands many attractions in a small basket in the lounge area.
