This part of Scotland is particularly beautiful, with some really spectacular scenery on the doorstep. It's a wonderful base for some hill walking, fishing, golfing or sight seeing. There are so many outdoor activities available in the area that you will have difficulty trying them all.
Hunter's Quay Holiday Village
Hunter's Quay Holiday Village is delightful; quiet, but with excellent facilities. There is a leisure centre with swimming pool, gym, sauna, badminton etc, together with a social club and restaurant/bar.
From the nearby town of Dunoon, you might wish to take a sail on 'The Waverley' - the last ocean going paddle steamer in the world. She has been lovingly restored to her former glory, and sails regularly from Dunoon pier from Easter to the end of August. Cruises range from two hours to eight hours, visiting many places of beauty and interest. A real must !
