Winchelsea Sands Holiday Village offers an excellent base for a wide experience of activities or just total relaxation. It offers a heated outdoor swimming pool with a childrens pool, and has a licensed bar with children's entertainment and live adult entertainment.
Also on site is a launderette, fish and chip shop, children's playground, amusements, cafe, children's lobster pot club, pool table and take away snack bar.
Passes are £5 per adult and £3 per child. With the passes it's free for you to visit the two local Park Holiday sites, where they have an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi, as well as the bars and clubs.

Winchelsea Sands Holiday Village is situated in an ideal spot for many exciting things to do:
Rye is a medieval town with cobbled streets and quaint antique shops and where you will find a market every Thursday where many local farmers sell their produce. Every year Rye holds a carnival, raft race and an arts week.
They also have a bird sanctuary for you to visit. Rye harbour is also very famous for bird spotters at certain times of the year to watch the migration, which is spectacular. There are many good reataurants and bars in Rye, far too many to mention!
Camber sands is very local to Rye; a perfect day out for the kids with its golden sands.
For the fishermen in you there is Dungeness, the cod is fantastic.
In the opposite direction, but still local, is the town of Hastings. It has a beautiful stony/sandy beach which is also very good for fishing. There is also a modern shopping centre and an old town, where you can take a trip into the old smugglers caves. Or maybe you will want to watch the the fishing boats come in and buy a fresh fish or two!! Hastings has a large variety of pubs, clubs and restaurants too as well as the White Rock theatre with many shows and concerts.
Down the road in Bexhill there is the De La Warr pavilion that has a host of entertainment, with its sea views while you are enjoying a civilised lunch or dinner. For the more energetic of you there are bike ride routes and some scenic walks through the beautiful countryside.
There is also a naturist beach at nearby Fairlight Glen.
On bonfire night Battle is the place to be. Organised by the bonfire society, the displays are magical, with the grand finale outside the abbey itself.
At night be amazed by the clarity of the stars, with our unpolluted skies it really is a sight worth seeing.
