Sundowner Holiday Park

Sundowner Holiday Park is a very well maintained and clean park, with its own launderette and mini market (opening times vary through season) and also some amusements.

Family entertainment is provided off site within a stones throw from your chalet. There are clubs, pubs, a restaurant, bingo and take aways. A heated swimming pool is open to the public just 2 minutes from the park.

Around & About

Hemsby has a beautiful sandy beach with dunes just waiting for you to enjoy, which is a short stroll from the park. There is also a good equestrian school close by. In and around Hemsby there is a superb collection of shops that cater for all tastes; the hustle and bustle of Beach Road includes many souvenir shops and a whole host of amusements for the kids (or the young at heart).

Whilst in Hemsby Village there are some quaint gift shops, a supermarket, local butchers and bakers, and the all important fish and chip shop - a must on a good English holiday!

The beauty of the Norfolk Broads is but a 15 minute drive, where you can take in all the breathtaking scenery of this national park, just hire a day boat and drift along at your leisure or do some fishing (seasonal).

Great Yarmouth is just 10 minutes away with great entertainment, live shows, a famous amusement park and lots of nightlife. It boasts a great town centre which holds a market on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from May to September, and just Wednesday and Saturday the rest of the year. Don't forget the nationally famous chip stalls and of course you can buy the famous Yarmouth bloaters from the local fishmongers.

There's also a whole host of shops and a mall with many big name stores.
