The lounge has French doors, (that open onto a spacious balcony that carries around to the side door & is gated for privacy & safety. Patio furniture is provided/table-chairs & parasol.)

2 free standing sofas (very cosy) one of which has a hidden pull out sprung double bed (duvet & pillows supplied) which makes this into an 8 berth. Matching armchair flatscreen freeview TV/DVD/TV drawer unit, feature modern wall fire with glow effect large coffee table, overhead fan , 2 central heating radiators, carpeted & modern lighting throughout.

Children’s games, DVD's and CD’s are left for you to use.

Kitchen/Diner

This modern central kitchen finished in light wood & stainless steel is the full width of the caravan & has a fully tiled floor, so when entering from the side door there is no worry of mucky feet going straight onto carpets.

Consists of: Integral fridge/freezer & microwave, good size s/s sink modern gas cooker & overhead extractor, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board, radio/cd player, full range of crockery and utensils.

Dining table with 4 chairs(other spare seating available inc. baby seat. Dining room dresser/storage unit, central heating radiators.

A smoke alarm & carbon monoxide detector is fitted for your safety.

Bedrooms

Main bedroom at end of hall consists of: Double bed (duvet & pillows supplied) with overbed lighting, overbed & side storage cupboards, wardrobe & dresser/drawer unit and radiator.

2 twin bedrooms consist of: 2 single beds in each (duvets & pillows supplied), overbed storage cupboards, wardrobe, dresser/drawer unit and radiator.

An infants travel cot is available for your use if required (meaning more space in the car and no cot hire charge).

Shower/Toilet

Large step in shower unit with power shower porcelain, wash basin & toilet, mirrored cabinet, extractor fan and radiator..

Own parking space at caravan.

Please bring your own duvet covers/pillowcases & towels. Gas & electric are included.

Entertainment passes

As some holiday makers do not require passes and size of holiday parties vary we do not include these in price. These can be purchased from park reception on arrival.

Booking periods run from 2pm Sat 10.30 am the following Sat. Part weeks may be available on request in non peak weeks (low season)

A non refundable deposit of 70 pound per wk booked is required to confirm booking with the balance due 8 wks before the start of your holiday; if a late booking is made then the full payment will be required to confirm booking.

We are relatively new to Doniford only having our caravan since Nov 07 & consider ourselves really lucky to have such a super van & fantastic spot, (our little bit of heaven)

We feel it a waste to leave such a 'haven' empty when we cannot get down , so we are offering to let to 'nice people' who will look after our van & enjoy it as we do.

In our first year we left it to Haven to let our caravan and it was fully booked... now we let it privately and have had many happy guests who have been full of praise for our caravan and particulary its location.

Doniford Bay Holiday Park

Doniford Bay is a small haven holiday park situated in the quantox hills in West Somerset , just 15 min drive to Minehead town centre & its sandy beach (local bus from park) (or take the West Somerset steam railway) which is within walking distance from the park complex & has many pick up/drop off stops along the coast-take advantage of the all day ticket..

The park itself has all the usual haven facilities & entertainments in the main complex (which is a few minutes walk from the back of our caravan) Including:

Clubhouse, sports bar, cafe bar, amusement arcade, mini 10 pin bowling, pool tables, games room etc.

Heated indoor pool with water activities, heated outdoor plunge pool, 4-lane waterslide (outdoor in high season), All weather sports court, adventure playground, go karting, crazy golf, tennis court, bike hire, sport coaching, kids clubs, indoor fun palace, t.zone for 12-16+, convenience store with off license & gift shop, take away /fish & chips, hire shop and launderette.

Doniford Bay is having an upgrade during the 09/10 closed season which includes a refurb of the clubhouse including new toilets, refurb to the cafe bar, pool area including new roof, and new look complex, making Doniford Bay an even better place for your holiday.

Local Area

The area is perfect for long walks/cycling or driving to explore the magnificent quantox hills, Exmoor, Taunton, Dunster castle, Watchet Harbour, Blue Anchor & its sandy beach or Washford Tropiquarium.

Go further a field for a day out to Chedder Gorge or Wookey Hole & its famous caves or even Weston Super-Mare

Stay local & enjoy the rambling hills or walk along the beach to Watchet Harbour (when the tides out of course) or better still relax & take in the magnificent view of the bay.
