Our caravan is situated within a 2 minute stroll of breathtaking views over the golden sandy beach and famous dunes of Perranporth.
Perran Sands Holiday Park is situated near Newquay on the north coast of Cornwall. It is within a 20 minute drive to the City of Truro with its beautiful Cathedral, and great for shopping.
Within a 20 minute drive in another direction you are in the famous town of Newquay, which is great for its nightlife and stunning views.
Perranporth is quite central to Cornwall so you are within an approximate 1½ hour drive of the attractions of Cornwall, which are too numerous to list. Perranporth is famous because it is said that St Pirran, the Patron Saint of Cornwall, landed at Perranporth. There is some evidence of this in the miles of dunes that surround the holiday park.
The beach is approximately 3 miles long and has golden sand. Swimming is overseen by the lifeguards during peak season times only. The beach has had a lot of publicity as it features in the programme ‘Seaside Rescue’.
However, if swimming in the sea is not for you Perran Sands Holiday Park has one heated indoor pool with water slide, and one outdoor pool. The site also has a crazy golf course, Burger King, shops, restaurant, clubs, pubs, amusements, entertainment, kid’s clubs, an all weather sports pitch and a launderette. Some of these are at extra cost.
