Woodside Bay Caravan Park

Woodside is a quiet holiday centre with the static caravans spread amongst the trees, not in regimented rows.

It is well off the beaten track yet within 10 minutes drive of local stores (Tesco Express), pubs, restaurants and take aways (Chinese, Indian and Fish & Chips).

The partly sandy beach overlooks the Solent with perfect views of the shipping entering and leaving Southampton, including some of the world’s most spectacular liners.

There is a small play area for the children (as well as the beach) and a handy launderette for washing and drying.

Private car parking is provided on site.

The centre is convenient for ferries from Portsmouth or Southampton. Help with ferry booking is available if required

Isle of Wight

Step back in time with a visit to this magnificent island where evidence of a fascinating past is all around. Castles, country manors, Roman villas and a steam railway only 15 minutes away.

Walking on the island is superb with a host of well marked footpaths crossing cliffs, beaches, downlands, forests and meadows – the variety is incredible in such a confined area.

Use the extensive open-top bus tours to gain a great view of the island, stopping off at the many attractions on the way.
