Owner's Description

Our holiday caravan has 2 bedrooms, one generous double and a smaller twin bedded room, and can sleep 6 with use of the sofa bed in the living room. The living area also has a TV, DVD player and a “digibox” allowing access to some digital channels.

The kitchen comes complete with a full size cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. The bathroom has a shower and WC.

Our caravan is in a sunny position, in a quiet area of the park. The playing field is a minute's walk away for the kids to play in. It is also within easy reach of the leisure complex and shop.

Our caravan is equipped with the little extras to make your stay a home from home experience, such as a selection of board games, some books and the necessities which are usually forgotten (salt, pepper, tea bags, coffee, sugar, tea towel).

Passes to use the park facilities are not included in our prices and will need to be purchased from reception on arrival if required. 2008 prices for weekly entertainment passes were £27 low season and £32 high season for a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children). Individual and/or daily passes are also available. Passes also allow full use of the Day Spa facilities at the sister Shorefield site.

Mains gas and electricity are included within the rental price. Pillows and duvets are also provided but you will need to bring your own sheets and towels.

Oakdene Forest Park

Oakdene Forest Park is on the edge of the New Forest. The site is very peaceful and is ideal for families and couples. It is perfect for cycling, walking and exploring the New Forest, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

Recent trips we have enjoyed have been crabbing at Mudeford Quay and dry ski slope tobogganing, both within a 15 minute drive.

Oakdene has lots for everyone, peace and quiet or more lively entertainment on site for those that want it. The new club complex brings all-weather entertainment under one roof and helps to give the park a four star status.
