Travel cots, bed guards and highchairs can be rented from Oakdene if required.
Oakdene Forest Park
Set in 55 acres bordering the Avon Forest, Oakdene Forest Park is on the Dorset edge of the New Forest, and only 9 miles from Bournemouth’s award-winning sandy beaches.
A uniquely peaceful location with the Avon Forest as a stunning backdrop and bridle paths leading straight into the forest, Oakdene Forest Park was awarded a David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation in 2007.
In each direction there are nature reserves, country parks and Forestry Commission.
Fishing is available locally (licence required)
As well as a ‘Spar’ shop on site there are major supermarkets and shopping areas within a short distance of the Park
On site facilities include indoor heated pool with flume, outdoor heated pool with water jets, fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room, Forest Ranger/nature activities, forest walks, cycle tracks, pool tables, paintballing, table tennis, crazy golf and amusements.
Passes to use the
park facilities are not included in our prices and will need to be purchased from reception on arrival if required.
The Oakdene Club includes the Oak entertainment suite, a bistro, blues bar, café (eat-in or take-away), children's club, amusement arcade, internet kiosk, Spar shop and launderette
