Our caravan stands on a concrete base with block paved paths and private drive to the side, and is in a quiet cul-de-sac location at the top of Ruda Park.

Croyde beach is a short walk away. This is a Blue Flag standard beach with lifeguard cover and is a well known international surfing area. Just a short distance from Croyde beach is Saunton Sands (where Robbie Williams filmed the video for his hit single 'Angels') and Putsborough beach, which are both beautiful beaches and excellent surfing venues.

Ruda Holiday Park

Ruda Holiday Park has superb on site facilities including the trendy coast bar and restaurant, a large entertainment lounge with nightly shows available (for small weekly fee) Costa Coffee, surf hire, fish and chips and Cascades indoor adventure pool with fun slides for all ages.

Staff are at hand throughout Ruda Holiday Park to keep the children busy with non stop events, both indoors and out.

The beautiful village of Croyde is a short strole away and remains totally unspoilt, with its thatched buildings and stream. The area benefits from excellent walks as it is part of the south west costal path.

The island of Lundy can be seen on a clear day and can be visited via boat journey from Ilfracombe, again a short drive away. There are many country pubs serving delicious food around Croyde, which may be reached without the need to use a car.

There are also many local attractions a short distance from Croyde and in North Devon, details of which can be found from reception at Ruda Holiday Park, and leaflets in the caravan itself.

My family and I love Croyde for its relaxing, unspoilt atmosphere and it's a great venue for superb family hoildays.
