Whilst holidaying in my holiday home you will have free use of the following:

Indoor swimming pool, Indoor and outdoor children’s play areas, Club house (bar restaurant), Gym, sauna & jacuzzi, Private beach, Laundrette (charge for washing drying)

Martello Beach is owned by Haulfrynns, who took over 19 months ago spending over £1.3 million on a new clubhouse and new indoor pool, gym and sauna. It's a friendly holiday park, as all of the caravans are privately owned, and has direct access to the private beach.

The clubhouse has various activities going on during the summer.

Locally

Eastbourne is about 10 minutes away by bus, which passes the Sovereign Harbour complex, 2 minutes away, consisting of restaurants and including a large Asda store.

During the summer ther are many activities going on including the Airbourne Airshow which is in August, the Ladies International Tennis in June, and then there is the Beautiful Southdowns downs.

There is also Beachy Head to explore, and Brighton Hove and Hastings that are within easy reach either by road or train, which make a wonderful day out for the family.

Pevensey Bay is in walking distance with good local shops pubs and food. Just a little further walk to Pevensey and Westham, the villages with ancient Pevensey Castle, which also have good local shops, pubs and food.

Within half an hour driving distance is Herstmonceux Castle, a must with the children as it has a hands on Science Centre. There are also three 18 hole golf courses locally.

So there's lots for the family to do.
