Hoburne Park
Hoburne Park is predominantly for private owners so is quieter than some
other Parks, but has the Tourist Board 5 star rating for its position and
facilities.
It is situated in a quiet area approximately 10 minutes walk to Highcliffe
Castle and Avon beach. The ever popular Mudeford Quay is 20 minutes walk
away where you catch the little ferry over to Hengistbury Head.
Christchurch market town and harbour, with its lovely riverside setting and
plenty of pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, is just 2 miles away.
Further afield is Lymington, with its designer shops and busy harbour, and
where you can catch a ferry to the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth is the
nearest seaside resort with miles of sandy beaches and plenty of nightlife,
and Boscombe with its new surf reef coming soon, is just 5 miles away.
There are numerous sporting activities close by such as golf, fishing, kite
surfing and dry ski. The new forest is just a few minutes by car with many
visitor attractions and opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding.
A little further away is Poole with its fabulous harbour containing Brownsea
Island Nature Reserve, and chain car ferry over to Studland Bay.
