All rooms of our holiday home are double glazed, as are the patio doors onto the sun terrace. There is also central heating, with at least one radiator in each room.
Amenities include satellite and freeview colour TV and DVD/CD/radio in the lounge. There is a DVD library of over 100 films. There is also an additional TV/DVD/CD and radio in the main bedroom.
Dogs are welcome: 1 medium/large breed or up to 2 small breeds. Exceptions to this by discussion. Essentially they have to be well behaved.
There is car parking available adjacent to the caravan, and a well visited bird table on the sun terrace (FREE feeds supplied) just outside the window - bring your camera! Please help us to maintain regular bird visits by maintaining food supply.
Wireless internet access is available via the site office for a weekly fee, so bring your laptop.
We provide bed linen, tea towels and FREE gas and electricity.
PLEASE NOTE: We have a strict no smoking policy in the holiday home, but smoking is allowed outside. Single sex parties are not allowed due to Park rules.
If you are looking for a self catering holiday, Devon is an ideal location. We are based at Chapmanswell, near Launceston on the Devon and Cornwall boundary; centrally located for all the major attractions that the Southwest has to offer.
Bude is only 25 minutes by car, Plymouth 45 minutes and the A30 is only 5 miles away, giving quick access to the Eden project, Padstow, Newquay, Land's End, and many more exciting venues.
Local airports/ferries can give you day trips to the Scillies and Lundy. Dartmoor National Park is on our doorstep and Bodmin and Exmoor are just down the road for those looking for a walking holiday in Devon or Cornwall.
Chapmanswell Caravan Park
The holiday park has a variety of timber lodges, caravans and an area for tents. It has a club house, open every day, with regular live music appealing to the more mature generation.
Chapmanswell is a spacious quiet holiday park situated in tranquil countryside. This family run site has friendly staff and good security. The mini farm has donkeys, horses, chickens, and Peacocks that roam the site. We keep bird seed in the holiday home so you can feed them by hand as well as keep the bird table topped up outside the lounge window.
Site features include: reception shop and launderette, free hot showers, play area and wireless internet access.
Well behaved dogs with responsible owners are welcome, although we prefer they are not left unattended in the holiday home unless housed in a dog den, which we can provide. Pictures of the den appear in the photo tour on our main website. Your attention is also drawn to the site/house rules, including those relating to dogs, which can also be found on our main website.
Our holiday home is in a central location adjacent to the mini farm. The country pub and restaurant is only two minutes walk away and even offers a takeaway service.
